Lad claims I sent representative to an office to claim money

So apparently I sent some dude to Nigeria to claim my funds. I'm not sure the result this person is looking for, but since I don't know who Robert is, and I didn't sign anything...the answer is no. This is the strangest 419 I've ever received.

Strange Letter:

LAGOS NIGERIA.

FROM THE DESK OF MRS. FARIDA WAZIRI.
FOR: ECONOMIC & FINANCIAL CRIMES COMMISSION (EFCC).

ATTN: Beneficiary

BENEFICIARY OF FUNDS VALUED (USD 11.5 MILLION) ONLY

RE - URGENT NOTIFICATION OF RELEASE OF YOUR PAYMENT

THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT A MAN CALLED MR.ROBERT WHITE FROM USA CAME TO OUR
OFFICE TODAY CLAIMING TO BE FROM YOU, STATING THAT YOU ARE DEAD BUT BEFORE
YOUR DEATH YOU MADE HIM YOUR REPRESENTATIVE TO CLAIM YOUR ATM CARD/FUND VALUED
$11,500,000.00 ONLY.

NOW HERE COMES THE BIG QUESTION, DID YOU SIGN ANY DEED OF ASSIGNMENT IN FAVOR
OF MR. ROBERT WHITE THEREBY MAKING HIM THE CURRENT BENEFICIARY WITH HIS
FOLLOWING CONTACT DETAILS: (7121 EDGETON ST; DETROIT, MICHIGAN 48212-1905, USA.).

WE SHALL PROCEED TO ISSUE ALL PAYMENT RELEASE DETAILS TO THE SAID ROBERT

There is a bait of this nature happening on the board. He just called his scammer from the Intl. Space Station. He will want money to change the document(s) back to your name.

A bit off topic, but a bob white is a bird here.

These are common 419 scam emails.

Basically, you're expected to reply that you didn't send anyone to pick up your funds.

It's basically a lads version of an ASEM they are hoping you will want the money and explain you did not send the person to pick it up.

Further to Tucos' suggestion, I send that I'm indeed dead, but my Lawyer has a DVD I made prior to my death with instructions to follow for this, please contact Lawyer********* @ gmail.

They always contact, then it turns hysterical. Very Happy
