I've seen references to a couple of bits of software which waste a lot of lads time. But whilst I appreciate these are frustrating, I can't help feeling that something that costs them a lot of money is better.

My lad clearly prefers email than to phoning my 070 Flextel number, but I've managed to get him to call 127 times now! Not all have been answered, but if I assume 50% of them have, it means he has paid for 63 calls.

I'm wondering if most have to pay to use Internet cafes', in which case time-consuming processes really cost them money, or if most will pay a flat monthly fee, so time-consuming processes don't actually cost them anything in money.

I'm on my first bait and have someone from Nigeria hooked. The phone number indicates he is in Lagos. I love it every time that phone rings and I see it's him.

Yes it's mainly hour based cost, but whatever method they're paying - they're loosing money or time on you, not on real victims. Imagine he might scammed a real victim by that time he spent on you, so he looses money anyway Smile

Out of the years of baiting I can only confirm that one was most probably using his home internet connection. He was also the only one who seemed to be a completely sole operator. He was the widow, lawyer and banker.

All others came from cafes, a large percentage reply to my emails at the same time or within 30 minutes of the same time.
