According to the facts of modern science, ghosts simply do not exist and there is no proof anywhere that says otherwise. Let's look at some other things that were scientific facts in their time...
- For centuries, the Earth was flat. It was also the center of the solar system, and the sun orbited us.
- For many more centuries, many mental and physical illnesses were the direct result of breathing "night air" outside. Night air could be kept safely outside of a building or tent simply by closing all doors and windows. The reflected light from the Moon was the most widely supported probable cause.
- As recently as the 1950's, black people (all of them) had poor night vision.
- As recently as the 1960's, plants were removed from bedrooms because they stole oxygen from the air - but only at night. During daylight hours, they produced oxygen.
- It used to be possible for virgins to become pregnant.
Those were all facts, meaning they were supported by endless research and all known laws of science in their time. Since researchers didn't know then what they know now, they simply went with the information they had before them... and since scientists have always known all that there is to know, that proof was good enough.
So what are the odds that today's scientists know everything there is to know? That's why certain mysteries and apparently impossible things still exist. |
