Beginning to scam in 2009, the gang of twelve had specialists who created and updated fake websites imitating a genuine online shopping company. They even created forums in which they pretended to be enthusiastic customers.

They asked for advance payment and had mules who provided bank accounts.

Police began to investigate after the genuine company reported angry complaints from „customers“. Police estimate victims lost millions. Eight of the gang have been arrested, the trail leads to Turkey.
