DRAMA UNFOLDED at the Takoradi Market Circle yesterday as thousands of people trooped to the place to catch a glimpse of an alleged ‘sakawa’ man, who suddenly stripped naked in front of the market women.

The man, believed to be in his late thirties and in sunglasses, allegedly came out of a Mercedes Benz saloon car, removed all his clothes except for a pair of socks, as the women traders shrieked in shock.

According to eye-witness accounts, at about 9:00 a.m. yesterday (Wednesday, 20th May 2009), as some of the women were busily displaying their wares, they suddenly saw a handsome young man in suit and wearing a pair of spectacles come out of a posh car, and calmly removed all his clothes, going stark nude.
