This is the first one of these I have received, and it makes me sick to try
to use the men and women in iraq as an excuse to scam money.
The highest rank i ever was in the Navy was CPO so i promoted myself and went kinda ballistic on the lad with this, doubt I'll here from him but it made me feel good

I've done that myself. When a Holocaust fund scammer ended his pitch with "you may reply in German" I did so, telling him that he deserved to be anally raped to death in public by a diseased stallion.
More recently, in the General Stan1ey massbait, I was using two personae; one of them took the General to task for stealing from the Iraqis.

Though I understand your anger, baiting is the best way to truly make him pay.
There isn't really any measure of scammer sickness as they'll abuse anyone or anything to turn a dollar, even their own sick and dying children.
If you really can't bait him, just tell him you've made a donation of $200 to the Veterans Welfare to show support to soldiers like him. Just mention that if he weren't so wealthy you'd have sent it to him.

Oh how wonderful it would be to have that phrase translated into a plethora of languages - oh the fun I could have with it, both inside and out of Eaterland.
