Lisa opened the huge box it come in and sent me a picture of it (above) I cannot wait to try it!

Ive been running RC on one of my laptops for about a month now. I really like it. Much faster and more stable than Vista by a mile.

I had an early beta, and I liked it too. I refuse to fork out the huge sum they are charging, though. As Vista was such a failure, they should have a reduced price upgrade to Vista users.

I'm always leery of new systems from Microsoft or anyone so may wait a while.

Did an upgrade, and when it connected to Windows Update there was already 451 updates available! (Vista was fully upto date)

Not a fan of any Windows. I much prefer OSX. Have Snow Leopard just now. Tried W7 but wasn't too big a fan.

My one problem with Windows 7 was my wireless transmitter would not turn on Sad

resolved by conecting directly to my router and did a Windows update.

I've been running Win7 for over a year now (yes, I really have - don't start on me) and I like it a lot. Some of the new UI I like, some not but overall it's a winner. It boots faster, uses less RAM and runs (and installs) legacy software way better than previous versions. I haven't managed to crash it once and I do horrible, nasty things to software on a regular basis as a part of my job. Those wretched multiple security prompts from Vista are all but gone too. I'll be upgrading (fresh install) my personal laptop as soon as I get off my lazy arse. The new Win7 Server is pretty slick too. And Office Server? Wow. I've had more than a peek at the new version(s) and I'm very impressed.
