A guy came into my work last night (if you're wondering why I hear about so many scams at work, it's because I work at the front desk of a police department).
He had bid on a car on Ebay and lost the auction. Then he got an email from someone who told him that they were sorry he lost the auction, but they had the same kind of car, same year, and they would sell it to him at the last price he'd bid, which was $2,600.
Unbelievably, he sent the money via Money Gram as requested, and -- you guessed it -- no car ever came and no one responded to emails anymore! I said, "Don't you know you're never supposed to wire transfer money to people you don't know???" He just looked at me with a sad face, lol.......I felt bad that I'd said that.
Anyway, it makes what we do even more worthwhile to help keep trusting, innocent people from getting scammed. Poor guy was a struggling college student. |

I recived your email but the secured site for western union is very stressfull i have been here for almost three hour trying to get the MTCN numbers.
Just wanted to inform you that i almost lost my mind trying to reveal the MTCN numbers for the money you sent obviously this is punishment to the receiver of the funds.

There is a lot of spaces in the receipt for them to put their stamp, so why do they put the stamp on the 10 digital codes, and you know that without the correct number ,western union here cannot issue out the payment. (I know  )
