Like you I had received this kind of scam e-mails, since around 4 years ago, I got my first scam e-mail from a person who said that a old women died and had no relatives and you know the rest (i think the exact letter is around this forums), after that I got tons of scam mail, funny enough I got lots of the "Late Roy Kenob" (Stop killing the poor guy so many times), I got different e-mails describing different types of dead, from a silly dead to a plane crash, but last year I didn't receive a single e-mail from scammers (perhaps because I changed my e-mail address), then within a few days ago, I got this hilarious scam conversation though mail, on the second reply he even send me his 'international passport', 'diplomant id' and 'the late roys id', this is the first time they dare to give me a second answer. Anyway here's the first e-mail he sent to me, please take a look:

I AM MR. LEON BANNAU, THE ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OF NEDBANK OF SOUTH AFRICA.
I REQUEST YOUR CO-OPERATION IN THE TRANSFER OF MONEY AMOUNTING TO U.S.D. 32 MILLION.
ON SEPTEMBER 1999, AN AMERICAN PILOT, MR. ROY KENOB,AN AMERICAN NATIONAL MADE A FIXED DEPOSIT OF U.S D 32MILLION IN NED BANK OF SOUTH AFRICA. ON MATURITY I SENT A ROUTINE NOTIFICATION TO HIS FORWARDING ADDRESS BUT GOT NO REPLY. AFTER A MONTH, I SENT A REMINDER AND FINALLY HIS EMPLOYERS
WROTE TO INFORM US THAT MR.KENOB DIED IN A PLANE CRASH, THAT HE DIED WITHOUT MAKING A WILL WHILE OUR ATTEMPT TO TRACE HIS NEXT OF KIN THROUGH AMERICAN EMBASSY PROVED FRUITLESS.
WHEN HE WAS MAKING DEPOSITION IN MY BANK, HE DID NOT DECLARE HIS NEXT OF KIN IN HIS DEPOSIT APPLICATION FORM, WHEN I REMINDED HIM HE SAID HE WISHED IT SO, IN THE CONSERVATIVE MANNER OF OUR BANK, I DID NOT TURN DOWN HIS REQUEST RATHER HONOR IT CONSIDERING HIS HIGH NET WORTH. THE POINT IS
THAT HIS EMPLOYER ARE NOT AWARE OF HIS DEPOSIT WITH US, THEREFORE I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO KNOW ABOUT MR.ROY'S DEPOSIT OF U.S.D32,000,000.00 WHICH IS NOW LYING IN DORMANT ACCOUNT PORTFOLIO, THE WHOLE ACCOUNT RELATING TO MR.KENOB'S
DEPOSIT IS ALSO WITH ME. I AM LOOKING FORWARD FOR A FOREIGNER WHO WILL STAND IN AS THE NEXT OF KIN TO MR. ROY. For being an attorney, he doesn't know HOW TO TURN THE CAPS OFF, I laugh on this one, but I wasn't on the mood to do something funny with him, so I gave a mindless answer thinking that he wouldn't mail me again, but I was wrong he did. On the second mail he gave me his "real name" and personal "e-mail" which resulted to be a free web based e-mail address of hotmail.

This is what I answer to this e-mail:

You now mr.bannau, I had received thousands of similar e-mails from
people who claim to know about certain amount of money (most of them
related with south africa and a rich american), I don't know how you
got my e-mail address and I do not care. I'll investigate you as I did
with the rest of the people who wrote me before. Most of them had been
a lie, and ended in jail.

If you're not one of those youngsters trying to fool people on the
internet, scan your id card or passport and send it to me in .jpg
or .gif format no more than 2MB, and a document that proves that mr.roy
kenob ever existed, and I might help you, otherwise you know your final
destination, my dear 'friend'.

I though he wouldn't mail me again, as I mentioned before, but I was amazed!! He did and he attached the documents I asked (I'll post them tomorrow as I'm not at home right now), he gave me those scans on separated e-mail but this is his official answer:

and did not have Internet access, which caused my unable to send you mail.

However, Thank you for your last email, which you shown more interest in

one to show some kind of identification and even Mr. Kenob ID, I was
going to send you an e-mail with my research about Mr. Kenob and of
course you, but I changed my mind and forgot about this issue.

I think you told me that you're the only one you know about Mr.Kenob
account in your bank? Maybe I have a bad memory, please take your time

too, but of course have some I never received before.

Well, if you can explain me this, and convince me, perhaps I'll give
you a hand on transfering the money. I'm a serious person, not a fool.
By the way, I got you tracked, but fear not I won't use this
information against you, I'm just watching you closely.
