Just can't seem to connect with putfile these days.
Sometimes firefox connects, then explorer connects, and then neither.
Is it me or Putfile? |

i do bow to you guy's greater knowledge,
but I'm running vista ultimate, flock, firefox, and explorer,
all seem to be timed out when connecting.
I suppose the big question is what have I done? |

I think we are goofing with you.
I checked the site and it seems slow, although I never used it before so I have no comparison, it does load for me but takes a few minutes. My guess is that their server is slow, so you give up too soon and switch to another browser and it works. Then the same thing happens the next time. Try either waiting longer or if you get a timed-out message the problem is with their server.
You could try to increase the "network.http.keep-alive.timeout" setting in Firefox if page times out too soon. Enter "about:config" in the address bar then search for "keep-alive".
Of course using vista is a whole other problem.  |

I don't really use the site myself, but it contains some of the audio from our members.
It seems to time out an awful lot, your comments about vista schmista;
I could fill volumes with my complaints. |

I have had many, many problems with it timing out. I will try the about:config remedy but probably going to have to come back here and get details on how to make it work.  |

yep not been able to upload anything there for at least 2 weeks, deleting still works though 
Will solve in time I guess or I just have to move to Photobucket. |
