I answered with my fictional identity: a french businessman from Arles called J@cques Lec0ntes, that owns with his brother a firm that sells and buys bulls for bullfighting (for which Arles IS famous)!
Note that the surname lec0ntes in french can be read as "le con t'es" or "le con tu es", that means more or less "the sucker you are".

This is my answer (I put some french words and I used a pretty simple english with some mistakes in order to make more reliable my french identity):

Quote:

Dear Mr. W0ng Ch0ng,

Dear Mr. J0hn C0le, [Whooops, I made a mistake and added the name of another scammer; however, it seems he didn't notice it]

I'm sorry for answering late, but my google mail has wrongly put your
mél in the spam box, and since my informatic technician will be away
until the next week, I have some troubles.

Let me introduce me: my name is J@cques Lec0ntes, and I'm a french
businnessman well-known in Arles; with my brother, I'm the CEO of "Ami
T@ure@u", a firm that buys and sells bulls for games and bullfights
(Arles is a city as famous as Spain for bullfighting). The affairs are
going pretty well, and we are going to expand ourselves, so your offer
would be perfect in order to gather some money to build another
bullfight arena for testing bull strenght.
However, due to the huge amount of money, I would like to have some
guarantees: for example, from your letter it seems I should claim the
money as next of kin, but obviously I have no asian tracts and
therefore there could be some problems.

Please, give me more detailes about the affaire and answer me soon.

Best Regards

The fish starts to send address request and other things:

Dear J@cques Lec0ntes,

This is to acknowledge the receipt of your mail with thanks.

How are you doing and your family?

All I need now is your cooperation to file in your name as the next of kin to my late client Andrew Lec0ntes [Wow, who knows why He didn't mentioned him in his previous letter?] because in the record there is no known successor to this deposit of the deceased who died without a will and based on the situation at hand due to time constraint, if this fund is not claimed the government will seize this fund.

All documents relating to this transaction will be given to you as we progress.
I want this done so that I can use a good part of my share for helping the poor and the needy and for charity works. You shall receive 45% for your assistance.

However, I must assure you that this transaction is safe and all modalities is in place to ensure that this is done in a legitimate way without a single breach of law. Based on your maximum cooperation, we will finalise this transaction within ten working days.

I shall require from you , your FULL NAME and CONTACT ADDRESS WITH NUMBERS to start the process of claim in this regard. [Sure, man.]

Again I guarantee that all is under control and you have nothing to worry about, Just grant to me your full cooperation and keep this transaction close at heart.

Call me on my direct line +60122473440 for more details.

No, no, no, Mr W0ng, no time to give details yet.

Dear Mr. Ch0ng

Thank you for your prompt answer: as a businessman, I like people that
don't make waste other people's time.

I would have no problem to send the information you required, after
all we are in affairs; however, I would like to have some proof of the
existence of this money. You have to realize, Mr. Ch0ng, that I'm a
serious businessman and I cannot give personal details such telephone
number to everyone; a years ago, some arrogant animalist activists
against bullfighting took my number somewhere and started to send me
death threats all the day, until I went to the police and I made
arrest them. From that episode, I'm very cautious, and therefore I
prefer you give me further details of the deal: forward me an official
document of the bank (you should have no problem as a lawer of the
owner of the bank account) that certifies the existence of the money
and immediately after we can go on with other details.

Best Regards.

The fish just copied some sentences from his previous answer... why do you refuse to accept my little request, Mr. W0ng?

I sent this e-mail in a bit angry tone.

Quote:

From: J@cques Lec0ntes

Dear Mr W0ng Ch0ng,

I'm fairly disappointed by your answer. We are carrying on a deal and
I need guarantees, not words.
I'm an important businessman, with businesses worth millions of euro
to organize [C'mon, little fish, don't you feel the sweet smell of money?] , and I cannot waste time with people that don't give me a
minimum base in order to cooperate.
You are the lawer of the owner of bank account, and I PRETEND you to
give me the official documents that clarify the existence of the bank
account, especially if, as you are saying, you already hold them. This
is the normal way in which in France affaires are carried out.
After that, we can proceed with the deal fast, but if you are not
willing to cooperate, please don't waste my time anymore.

Regards.

Can you find the IP of this guy?

That is a real malaysian phone number (I live here and I just called it but didn't say anything to give your game up). More then likely triad run scam if it is coming out of Malaysia.

If you need to get any KL information send me a PM.

You might be worth getting them to do some safari trips out of this. His KL address is "Jln Melaka Raya" (Melacca Celebration St) so you could send his WU to the state of Melacca instead of state of KL which he claims he is in. Easy mistake to make.
