Please note that no other photographic identification will be accepted by the Accounts Department.

When we receive your photograph we can then make arrangements to send you payment for the Gold.

Please note that because we are very busy the sooner you return an acceptable photograph the sooner we can process arrange the shipment and payment for the Gold.

You'll get frowns of disapproval from almost everyone here for sending a real fake passport. You can bet your life that this passport will end up being some future lad-character's passport, if it isn't already being used as such. Even an obvious fake to you or me might not be obvious to someone who isn't familiar with the right cultural references. If the lad accepts it, you can be sure that a future victim somewhere will accept it.

Fr Priest was struck by a big lorry after visiting the Bank to arrange a payment to Accra, Ghana on Thursday afternoon. Death was instantaneous.

I was hoping he'd pester the church for payment in which case I'd planned to reveal that the payment slip had been buried with Fr Priest and we'd have to arrange a costly exhumation but it wasn't to be. At least I was happy to get my first baiting trophy. Smile

It's like an unwritten* but agreed-upon piece of knowledge that sending IDs (even really badly faked ones) to the lads is just handing them stuff that they can use for themselves later. You might have seen earlier baits here or ones on other sites that contained fakes being sent to lads. Now, at Eater, that practice is discouraged as baiters' fake IDs have been spotted in circulation at times. It's up to you if you want to continue doing that, but any mention here will get the same response.

Still liked the whole thing, though! The timetable for the Father was great! I guess that means he never returned the "Die Hard" DVD or got to see the match? That makes me sad.

Whats done is done regarding the fake passport you sent. Otterfan has already taken care of outlining the issue of fake passports to lads so just put it down to experience.

A really enjoyable read - dont be surprised if your lad pops up again soon, they often have a habit of bobbing back up out of nowhere.

Good use of a Star Trek reference. I don't think that there is much of a chance that the scammer will recognise the EMH from Voyager. I have a hunch that scammers are rarely trekkies. Very Happy
