She was pulling the "I'm only doing this because I'm starving and need money for rice" spiel on me that she's perfected, despite the fact I know for a fact she's been online every day for the past few months for hours at a time. She also looked perfectly healthy to me, not at all like she'd had to skip any meals. Let's be honest. If you were starving, would you spend your money on rice or internet time, including renting a private room and webcam?

(edit) Another thing to note is how much they hate doing anything that doesn't involve taking their clothes off. Most will at least pretend to be enjoying themselves as they put on a "show" for you, but ask them to do anything out of the ordinary and it's like you've told them they have to eat their own grandmother.

Remember, don't feel sorry for them and don't send them any money.
