Beware - possible geekiness ahead...
Mono - I was in discussion with the Mono original devs about MS back in the early 000's. MS *love* Mono. The .NET CLR (Common Language Runtime) framework is an open, published standard. MS actively wanted people to write CLR's for other platforms, they wanted the code tools market, and to try to fight Java which was becoming ubiquitous. If you want to write a CLR for Macs, go ahead. A competing one for Linux? Sure. A port for the Beeb Micro or ZX81? If you can do it, great! Similarly, if you want to .NETify a language to run on the CLR, that's all published open standards too - Forth.NET, anyone? RExL.NET?

EmailParser v1.2 now available. Has some minor feature additions, most notably being a popup box to remind you to make sure your format is set.
I'm also working on a web-based version. I'd like some feedback on this- would you guys prefer a web-based version or an executable version?

I have no idea how to use this as the instructions (as they read - OP) are coded in IT speak...
Can you make this easier to use for non-techs?

trying to down load emailparser program and I am getting this error message.
<The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on ok to terminate application>
What does it mean and how can I fix it so I can down load.
EDIT: OK now, had to download .net v2.0 first |

YES! This is very welcome! It will definitely help.
I just got done publishing my bait and just copied and pasted the contents of my online mail account mailbox, which still required a bunch of editing.
In the future I will use the parser. |
