I'm going to call her tonight. That would be hilarious if he has some vlad in Bulgaria that he's having the Major call. I hope when she gets the details of how much money he stands to get she doesn't decide to try to jump in line in front of him. That could make for a messy relationship. I fully intend to gently hit on her with ambiguous phrases and innuendo.

The other alternative is that there are some lad cells working out of Bulgaria that we know of, so it could be a Nigerian girl working from there, more likely a vlad though, I reckon.

So essentially there is a better chance that this chick is someone he has met through a dating site? I don't really know what the definition of a "vlad" is. I always just assumed it was a shortened version of "love lad". Is it part of the definition of a vlad to be a scammer?

SP, can you x out a couple of numbers up there? I agree with luckey that it probably doesn't matter in this thread, but better to be safe anyway. (That is, of course, if that's her actual number you posted.)

A vlad is just something we call any type of scammer from Eastern Europe, whether they run escrows, couriers, ebay scams, romance scams etc, all are vlads if they are from that part of the world. He might have met her on a dating site, she might be trying to scam him, it wouldn't be the first time a lad fell for a vlad romance scammer.

The romance sticky which I have conveniently put in my siggy line and added HERE has a section about half way that tells you how to post a picture as well as how to write on it.

You will also notice on the post screen when you write your next post, on the left hand side is a clickable link called BBCode under options, which I have placed Here in this section you will find all kinds of things about posting on the forum including how to do the nice click here thingy which I have become fond of.

It of course has a section on how to post an image as well

Looks like this might be coming to a close. Luckey put a forward to me of all mail from F4m0h to the Major's account while he's on vacation in case there's something I needed to know. Looks like he's really getting restless in the Ivory Coast. I don't think it helped for me to push his brother and girlfriend to encourage him to go through the process because he hasn't talked with his brother yet according to e-mail. Anyway, here's from his last e-mail to the Major:

The expiration date is a ways off. That doesn't mean he couldn't get funds from the SRF, it is just a date to apply for the funds. Of course he will get an extension... Twisted Evil

I am sure the committee wants some more information about his family. There is some un-clarity about his brother's death. I think the committee will want to know which of the brothers is still living. I think Slightlyoutofit said that he had two brothers die during his bait. Why his father had so many wives and what did he do with the "extras" when he converted.

Fxxxx's PTSD has yet to be addressed. I plan to keep him talking. There is also the issue of the eye vs ear that has not been addressed!

Dr. Dr3w does bcc the M4j0r all emails. There will probably be a series because I think Fxxxx has a hard time "staying on task".
I just re-read where he has put a deadline of the 8th before he returns home. Maybe he is just bored...

Maybe I should just call him later to tell him I spoke with his girlfriend (not sure if he even knows yet - he didn't mention her in the e-mail I got) and that she thought it was great he was going to get some help. I should also tell him I told her that if he wasn't going to take the process seriously, he should withdraw his application so the committee can focus on victims that REALLY need the ten grand and are willing to submit the proper information without whining every two days. Of course, I'd be a bit gentler, but I have two other cases I'm working on right now, and this flip-flop bullshit is wasting my time!
