I know 'technically' many might not care Wink , but I just wanted to let people know that my work finally decided to block this site. Sad I just wanted to let people know because I usually had my web browser minimized all day and would answer PMs (mainly about P4rc3l D1r3ct) pretty quickly. Just wanted to let the masses know why I will be slow to answer unless you email me using the address found on the PD website.

Did they give a reason for the exclusion, or was it just a general flushing of sites full of undesirables!

Cool This is MOST interesting! I wish I knew WTF was going on with the main site but I'm sure that the powers of "GOOD OVER EVIL" have it well under control. Hang in there Shiver; your exploits of the past is what got me started on this quest! Cool

Evil or Very Mad This little attack on EATER and AA hasn't stopped my efforts to lead the lads down the proverbial path of "SELF DESTRUCTION" by any means. Just yesterday one of my mugu's asked me how much the cheque was that I received ($66,990) and I told them it was for $3,141,592.65 (they think I am a Multi-Millionaire - ROFLMFAOOO). Twisted Evil

Smile Everyone hang tough, this is nothing more than a minor setback. Very Happy

bow_down BELIEVE AND IT WILL COME TO PASS! Wink

Why it was blocked I don't know. I think it was just part of a general close up. But it's odd odd, I can make it in today (hence this post). Maybe they only firewall it every other day?

They've blocked some proxy websites, but I'm open to learning tricks of the trade to find other ways around them from anyone willing to teach me. Very Happy

^^ No. With firefox I got some error page stating something about Apache & port 80.

With Explorer, I got the standard (standard for blocked sites at work) "This site is blocked, blah blah blah"

Don't mean to be a pain, But if the site is blocked by your IT dept don't try to develop a 'work around'. It's likely they will discover it and be annoyed .

Rather I would recommend asking your IT dept to whitelist it. Of course that will have a lot to do with how strict your companies policies are.

Having spent gobs of time cleaning viruses, spyware and porn off corporate machines I am a big fan of strict firewall policies and whitelisting sites.

Another pain. You do know you will be trying to circumvent your companies security policy. How do you think shiver would feel if you tunneled out of this site and let the bad guys back in. As a former IT person I would give you one warning before you would be looking for another job. I'm stunned by the attitude of the forum members after what happened to this site. While DDOS has nothing to do with this thread there are other ways of destroying a site or a company network by selfish employees that need their internet fix. Shame, slap, shame, slap. Crying or Very sad
