Hi, long time lurker here.
A couple of days ago I was contacted by an eBay scammer and decided to have some fun with him. You can read about it here.
It just gets more amusing as his threats become worse. |

Hopefully the account you used was all fake and you haven't revealed any personal details?
Otherwise, brief but fun. Hopefully you'll read the stickies sign up for a mentor if you feel the need for one and get stuck in to the wonderful World of Lads.
and Welcome to eater |

Thanks, Fred!
Unfortunately he contacted me via eBay and I responded with my personal email address, so he knows that at least.
Based on his emails, I've obtained his address and, after a number of hours' thorough searching, his phone number. Rest assured I will be milking him for all of his comedic potential.
(There is at least one report on the eBay forums about this guy having successfully scammed someone. Therefore I have no issues messing with him. Bigtime.) |

The address he gave you is not his real one, it's a "drop" location that scammers give (usually a innocent victim).
The telephone number you have, is most likely a "disposable" cellphone number, and it's not his true home phone number.
Lastly, drop him and bait him from a new email address, that doesn't contain your real name.. Please read the stickies before attempting to bait this guy. |

A couple of months ago, I ran a bait on an Ebay "Get Rich Quick" scammer.
However, she had put a personal email address in her Ebay "Front Page" listing and I was able to use a Yahoo baiting email address to talk to her.
I told her that I lived in a cabin without running water or computer.
She told me I could run her scheme from a library's computer.
She wanted me to participate in some kind of "Mission Impossible" conference call.
I did get a picture out of her.
Some other posters thought she was trolling for Amway but I asked her and she denied it. |
