Paypal Scam?

I recently received an email from a guy in Latvia claiming to have the website and other information which I will post when I get home. He asked me to receive payments through PayPal and wire them to his bank (he gave me banking information too). He claims to have an internet software company and sells the "retailing of software". I'm very aware of the scams out there and usually forward them onto Ebay or Paypal and help friends, family etc. to avoid them but this one caught my eye. I thought it was a newer scam and very interested in the way it works. I have read scams coming out of Latvia but none matching this description. I still have him baited and now he is asking to cash a money order for him (from a proposed client) to again wire to his bank.

I believe he has a real company, porn or prostitution or something, and needs a way to launder the money or just launder in general. Anyone have any information or insight to this type of scam? thanks

You're right. It is a money laundering scam. You cash his checks, keep a small percentage for yourself, send the remainder to him. You spend some time in jail at the end or spend most of your savings trying to stay out of jail.

Dr. Who is right.
The money that he will be sending to you via Paypal will probably come from hijacked accounts. When the police start tracking the money it will look like you are the bad guy. STAY AWAY!
