This story is a few days old now, but kudos must be given to the tech-heads at INTERPOL for descrambling the image below of this P.O.S. paedophile who posted pictures of himself on the Internet. This scum-sucker thought he was being clever by Photoshopping his picture to try to hide his identity in images showing him abusing kids. He has been identified as an English teacher. I bet he's not feeling quite so clever now.

The guys that regenerated the image from the "twirled" version did a fantastic job. A vast amount of skill must have gone into descrambling the image. It's nowhere near as easy to do as some might think!

i read that they took years to develop software to reverse the twirled effect, Great Job.

They had a recent photo of him in this morning's papers.

It looks like those that were unscrambled might be quite a few years old.

I saw on the news that they have his passport number, name, and other such information. It's only a matter of time now before they catch him.

I hope he rots away in some third world country jail surrounded by bamboo fences, picking weavels out of his bowl of rice.

Too bad he won't be going to a US jail (he's Canadian) as there is at least one nice thing about prisons here is they take care of scum that touch children with their own prison justice. Too bad they didn't have that kind of ethics when they were out of prison to begin with.

I just now saw on the news that they had a very recent airport photo of him in Seoul, South Korea. So the net is getting tighter.

If he were in prison here in the States, they would probably put him in protective custody for the duration of his sentence. They would pretty well have to or he would be in a lot of misery in a very short time.

Because he committed the crimes in Thailand, couldn't he be extradited back there to stand trial. Thai prisons are not known for being particularly hospitable.

Considering the picture in the OP, I think that creative use of any number of Black & Decker power tools and adapters could make his face look like the left picture.

I dont understand why he bothered doing that twirl thing anyway...why not just cut the face out the photo, hence no chance of anyone finding it?

@FiveForces - that would be the sensible thing to do, but I suspect his ego wouldn't let him to that. Much better to do the smart arsed twirly face thing, like a two-fingered salute to law enforcement. I'm so glad they are now able to give a one-fingered gesture in return! Twisted Evil

A paedophile's life in prison is hell - every single day -, so I wouldn't begrudge him a long sentence.
