Apparently I have a new title - still trying to sort out why - but it reminded me of the movie "Mystery Men." I never actually saw the movie, but apparently it involved people with powers which are mundane, but nevertheless beyond normal human abilities:

Do any of you have any mundane super powers? Aside from the one in my title, mine is that I can yell REALLY LOUDLY. I read somewhere recently that there's a contest for yelling "STELLA" like Stanley in Streetcar Named Desire. I'm certain I would win this thing. |

I'm very good at remembering the names of people that I've met, even if it was once, briefly, last year.
I haven't figured out how to get free beer from this skill yet, though.
edit to add after reading Tommo's post:
I can pat my head and rub my stomach or rub my head and pat my stomach.
This has gotton me free beer. |

Yep . I can breath in and out, but not at the same time. I can also hang a spoon on the end of my nose without the aid of superglue or a safety net.
Sadly, I can't whistle. Neither can I pat my head and rub my stomach at the same time.
Although I can conjugate a table in Latin. Does that count?
[Edit] Isn't "mundane super powers" an oxymoron? |

I couldn't remember a name or a number if my life depended on it, but I can very often completely memorize a piece of music after only hearing it once. Once I have it, I never forget it. |

My memory is usually pretty good, well it used to be better, I'm getting older now. I used to memorize numerous books full of birds (feathered variety), memorizing the birds on each page, their sillouettes for identifying them in flight, and their egg colours and sizes etc, really boring I know, but I used to be very in to ornithology when I was young.
I have nearly 50 email accounts used for baiting, all have different passwords, I can log in to each one without having to look up the password, as soon as I get new account and password it is memorised.
At other times, I can forget the simplest of things |

1) I can belch the national anthem whilst drinking a can of diet coke
2) I am immune to anything currently measurable on the Scoville scale.
3) I also have virtually no sense of smell (probably due to item 2)
Do they count? |

I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of military hardware from all over the world.
I can remember PIN codes and telephone numbers without effort - though for some reason that last doesn't work with mobiles. |

Due to my size(6'3", 245lbs) I can intimidate people into submission. Last year, one perp challenged my "super powers"....he told me that he wasn't going to jail and that he was going to put me "down"....I proved him wrong on both counts. |

I can remain invisible for hours at a time. This is exceptionally useful when combined with my ability to sleep through my alarm clock. |

I can find four-leaf clovers at will. If I want one, all I have to do is look and I can usually find several within a minute or two. Two days ago I was outside with my son, and spotted one out of the corner of my eye. I bent down to look and within about 5-10 minutes had found 22 of them. I also found 3 five-leaf clovers. In my life I have also found six, seven, eight, and nine-leaf clovers. |

^^^ LOL no.
When I was a kid I thought there was something wrong with our lawn/clover patch. But then, it happened to me in a different town, then in a town three hours away, then again some where else. . . . in different states even. I must have some weird power that makes them mutate as I approach. Or, there's something weird with my vision that makes them stand out like a beacon to me. |

Well, now that we've completely hijacked Samv's thread. . .
Of course that's clover. There are about 300 different species of clover. I didn't take pictures of the ones with three leaves, silly. Those are my mutants. |

I have a form of perfect pitch - I don't need the starting note to a song to be on key, if I'm in normal singing mode. |

due to the picture above with the 3 and 4 fingers, I can certainly tell you that Ima is a robot. Human Robot? no, Ima was built on a 200 gb hard drive, with only a 1 gb memory stick, the memory included finding 4 leaf clovers though. |

I can remember every bit of useless information and trivia I've encountered, but if it's something important.....Forget about it. I call it inverse importance memory. |

I can make people laugh, even people that don't want to. Although this super power has been proven ineffectual on my wife for some reason. |

my super-power is pretty much exactly the same as PRS Girly Girl's.
Oh, but I do have one other power that's kind of weird: Sometimes (not always, but definitely sometimes), I can listen to a piece of classical music or opera that I've never heard before, and identify the composer. |
