New question -

It appears from her myspace that she is a 16 year old girl. Though her brain tumor story is fabricated, should I call this bait off? I think I should, given her age.

Wouldn't it be illegal to give wrong information about oneself on myspace?

Against Myspace rules, maybe, but I seriously doubt it can really be said to be illegal, and even if it was, good luck getting someone to act on it.

I have seen many, many profiles with 100+ ages....the only rule I think is you must be 13+ because of some child protection act.

i just received an email from her that her father is about to die in the next day or two so she is giving up the search to help him. maybe her story was read after all i dont know so how was everyone's day?

More likely she was getting heat from outside sources. Having the father die is a great way to garner further pity and get people to leave her alone. Given everything I've read in this thread and "her" responses I'll add my vote to the Scam column too. The Health Department thing is absolute BS.
