Am lilian Thompson,Am 26 years old and Presently in Africa am originally from Virginia Beach,USA.Am an actress by profession and i came down here to make some movies and i am through with the shooting and have been here for about 3 months.

I will be coming over to US for another film production now i would need a room to rent and stay through out the whole time i will be there for some months...i want to know the last price for this total rent. I hope your price for the rent will be a reasonable one for me to afford. Questions 1 Tell me the Size Room 2 i like to know the location you are... 3 Also I will like to know if there is any garage or parking space cos I will come along with my own car.

She's originally from the US? Yeah, like I'm originally from Venus! All the spelling and grammatical errors aside, why is she giving details of her figure to a possible room mate? Surprised she didn't send a picture as well! Rolling Eyes

Here's what happens next - I think it's important for people to know about this.

She will tell you that her boss is arranging for all her travel, welfare etc, and that he will post you a cheque for a sum vastly more than your rent requirement. (�3000 seems to be a popular amount.) You will be required to deduct the amount you need for a deposit and one month's rent, and forward the remainder to her travel agent who will arrange her air ticket.

When you recieve this cheque, it will clear in the usual 3 working days. The money you wire via Western Union will leave your account immediately. Lilian will never arrive, and in 6-8 weeks the bank will realise her cheque was fraudulent, stop it, reclaim the �3000 from your bank account (because you're liable for that money) and the rest that you've wired on will be long gone.

I'm currently stringing along a very similar scammer, only he can't seem to make up his mind about whether he's called Alix or Alex. Take up as much of her time as you can by playing dumb - eg ask her to explain every little thing she asks you to do in great detail. But for God's sake, don't wire any money unless you don't want to see it ever again.

This is a standard fake cheque scam, which is one of the 419-type scams that we bait here. I'm pretty sure that Irvin will be leading little Miss Lilian Angel on a merry chase very soon, and that you don't have to worry about him falling for the scam. Wink
