I received an email from the lad this morning, he was ready to send the CD and video tomorrow (February 27th), but he was asking whether to send it to the UK or the US, because I initially told him the producer was only in the UK until February 27th, although on the 20th, I did tell him that he might be in the UK until early March, so that covers me, he will also be sending the email addresses of the group members and next of kins, I am so looking forward to seeing this video Very Happy

I sent him a reply saying there has been a delay in the UK, and the producer will now be there for a bit longer, so to send the CD and video there as planned, with a bit of luck he will send it tomorrow as he planned to do:

It sure sounds like you have done a lot of work on the rehearsals and video, I am eager to view the work you have done and to finally hear your great voices. If you remember, the producer asked for some photographs of the rehearsals and costume making, so that they can be used for the CD cover and a pull out leaflet inside the cover, to show buyers of the CD what you did in producing the song, have you taken any photos of work in progress?

I contacted the producer, and he informs me that he will now be in the UK until March 12th, I did say in an earlier email on February 20th, that he might be in the UK until early March, initially, he was planning on returning to the US on February 27th, but as you may or may not know, the music star he is doing work for, , admitted himself in to a drugs rehab unit due to his dependency on prescription medication, I suppose that is all part of being a major music star and the stresses it can cause, and as you can imagine, this has caused a delay in the work the producer is doing in the UK, is expected to discharge himself from rehab in the coming week, hence the producers extended stay in the UK, so he has requested that you please send the CD and video to him at the UK address I gave to you last week.

Thank you for confirming that you are getting all the personal details of the people travelling to the US, the sooner I receive those, the better. Keep up the good work, I am extremely proud of all you have done so far!

Ahh yes, finally he replied. So I'm guessing our video and pics should be here by about next week, maybe earlier. Who knows? Let's just hope it comes and we can see it.

It's now March 2nd, and I have not heard from the lad since his email on February 26th, when he asked for confirmation on whether to send the CD and video to the UK or the US. It's not unusual to not hear from him for a week at a time, so 4 days without hearing from him is not a problem at the moment. I have sent him this email with some pasted text from the producer (that's also me), hope he gets his arse in gear and sends the items soon:

I have been contacted by the producer, he is quite annoyed that the CD and video have not been sent yet.

You emailed me on the 26th stating that you wanted to send them on the 27th, but you were unsure whether to send them to the UK or the US, I emailed you the same day and stated that they were to be sent to the UK, but as yet, you have not replied to my previous emails, you need to check your emails a lot more often than you are currently doing, I did mention to you before about keeping in contact with me regularly, and not leaving long periods between contacting me, as it makes things very difficult if we do not know what you are doing!

The producer stated that you might not be sincere in wanting to record the song, he has a feeling you might be someone just playing games to waste his time, he has asked me to tell you, and these are his words that I have pasted:

"If you are sincere in wanting to come to the US and record this song, you need to send the CD and video to the UK immediately, I do not have time to waste on this project, I need to set up pre-production for when you arrive in the US, if you are no longer interested in doing it or if you are just some kid playing some kind of internet mind games with people, this is the time to tell us, if I do not hear from you very soon, I will find alternative atrists to record the song"

Well, xxxxx, there you have it, those are the producers own words, I have gone out of my way to help you to get this music contract, if you let me down, when anyone similar to you emails me in the future, I will not help them due to being let down by you on this occasion.

It is of paramount importance that you email me straight away to let me know what is happening!

, though he has been having some sort of problems with some members of the choir, and not as many will be coming to the US, but that seems to be sorted now:

I have sent him a reply, asking that he send me a scan of the shipping receipt and the tracking numbers as soon as he has sends them on Monday, March 5th, I also asked for some information on the problems he was having with certain choir members, I wonder if they fell out over some of them thinking I am not the real Gxxxxx Bxxx, who knows, will be nice to find out why anyway:

My lad has sent the CD and video today, tells me it should arrive in the UK by Wednesday jump_4_joy

This is the message for me to pass to the producer:

The CD has some information inscribed in the inside cover. The Y.M.C.A. music has a long intro. It is intentionally done... It is just to make room for the intro scenes of the video. When you watch the rehearsal tape, towards the ending, you will see what we had in mind to portray, although not yet perfected at the time of videoing. The VHS video has in its begining our church worship on the very day we were about to start our rehearsals.

You may skip that unless you want to find one or two things that may be
useful to you. The actual recording of the musical rehearsals comes after this with some clips of the studio rehearsals.

The rehearsals for the video, with some of the custumes, is toward the end of the tape. There is yet one more music '' that comes after the Y.M.C.A. song. It is just an 'escort'! However, more songs are in the pipeline... songs that, when performed on stage, will make you fall in love with nature!

We had to make sure we touched most of the requirements. But, rehearsals are still going on so that we will be able to produce a world class product. We would also take our time to take the pictures that would be used for the pullout cover in our ongoing rehearsals. If you still want them very urgently, then that would be taken, scanned and sent to you.

I hope, with your hudge expertise and experience, you will transform us into a wonderful group that will be ,the toast of the world, the beloved of Mr President, and a household music for all fans/lovers of the Y.M.C.A.! At least, we tried to put the African air into it. With your assistance still, we will perfect this job.We hope that by the time we come up, we will be able to give another version of the song in the pop style as you requested. We were incapacitated by instruments, time and especially, logistics.
