This was weird...pretty standard scam, but the final paragraph had me baffled.

What on Earth is that all about?
Is he writing a romantic Bronte style of novel..?
Is he practising his english skills..?
Is he taking hallucingenics..?

Spam Emails often include lines of text - often ripped from novels; one set of spam messages had chunks from Rafael Sabatini's Captain Blood stories - to fool spam filters.

For some reason your lad not only included that measure, but plunked it right it the text!

Don't tell him, though...
