suggestion for new sign in the signature

for every baiter its a big honour to receive a genuine DEATH-THREAD after he has annoyed and tortured some lads.

My suggestion is to introduce a new sign like a black cross for each received and confirmed death-thread which c�uld be included within the signature.

Posting the death-thread with the header from the email will do as a proof that its genuine me think.

^I think the fun is in reading the actual threats, by posting them for all to see in the signatures.

I really don�t see the need. Like getting a stock photo of Mariam Abacha or some dodgy ID, a death threat doesn�t take much skill to obtain. Signature space should be for achievements that require a bit of effort.

Sorry mathias, I know I promised to support you after picking up the money at WU - I was very surprised, but I voted no too. It gets rather confusing with the proliferation of signs, some of which I don't know what they are supposed to represent.

I agree. Death threats are pretty standard as far as I am concerned.

Someone (maybe Roycopper?) did suggest a branding iron for people who have gotten mugu tattoos . I don't think that is a bad idea myself.

The Branding Iron is a good idea, especially for those who, like Stargate, get the lads covered in tats. After all that is a permanent mark on the lad.

so what is the point of a sign for something you got?
worthy death threats can be coppy-pasted straight in.

IMO there is enough discussion going round and round agin about the ethics of tattoos that it's probabbly not a brilliant idea to display them in the sigline

When were there ethical conflicts about tattoos? I always thought this site was a �pro-tattoo� site. Obviously everyone isn�t, but as a whole, it seems they are quite accepted here. As far as I see it, people post regularly about their tattoo baits. Roycropper should open up his own shop! Shiver has a bait up on the main page with a tattooed lad. I think it is a pretty hefty accomplishment to get someone to permanently mark up their body because of a few emails. That is just my opinion though.

I've have no sig room left for any quotes if I got a badge for every death threat. Today I got

What a shame that those days are gone. I was probably involved in that thread but I probably purged it from my memory also.

I'm still relatively new to this forum but I'm with the "no" group. Sig signs would lose their importance if everybody had a ton of 'em. Death threats are like funny pics, not enough of a victory to warrant a medal. I vote yes on one for tattoos though.

everyone loves a pretty flag in their sig (see below) but i dont think death threats are flag material, theyre funnier to read than just aknowledge with a flag. i do however like the idea of a special flag for the various art we get (paintings, literature, body art).

Pink Ponies were started by Lotta to indicate for the Mods those who are/were followers of JM; we used these to keep a more subtle watch on the Pink Pony Fanciers, as they were known in the Mod lounge.

Now that JM has been determined not to be a threat, as such, the Pink Ponies are occasionally handed out because a member has done something of worth, because Lotta wanted to, or because a suitable bribe has been received (see Waynes).

Sorry, I voted no as death threats or insults can be elicited without too much effort. An icon for a tattoo might be a reasonable proposition but I think the current crop of awards is enough. In any event, insults, curses and death threats make for good reading.
