I'm so mad, really, really mad, I could bite iron into,
I went to wal-mart the other day and bought the three version
of "THE MATRIX" really excited to watch them, only one played
out of the three, that made me really mad, I cleaned the two that
wont play, stuck them back in, and guess what, they wont play,
I was really mad, I broke the the dvd's and all the little peaces
went all over the floor, scratching my head, I grabbed the broom,
not good, I have shag carpet, so I grabbed the vacuumed
cleaner plugged it in turned it on, guess what, it don't work,
now it work 4 months ago when i was behind wal-mart dumpster
diving, brought it home, it worked, scratching my head, how do
I return something without a receipt.
I'm mad.... Mad

Just take them back. Wal-Mart (at least around here) has fairly liberal exchange policies

this is what you do. go in to the store during the day. more than likely since it's christmas they will put the money on a gift card. they will at least let you exchange it. you can return stuff without a reciept 3 times a year - but you will need your drivers license.
tell them the broken dvd was like that. if they give you any shit, tell them you want a manager, then you will have your way - works every time Wink

they would rather give you what you want than watch you throw a fit over a dvd.

Ah well there's your problem. Dumpster items have an automatic Cut Out system if they are not used within 30 days. If you only use your vacuum every 4 months and only then when you have shards of smashed up DVD's on your shagpile after you've chucked a tanty then I'm afraid Wal-Mart isn't going to be very sympathetic to your plight. Maybe you should go and get a DVD of 'Anger Management' instead? Laughing

Wallyworld has a strange return policy. Thirty days with a receipt. No receipt? Then its forever or just about as long as most of the pieces are there. Going in with a thirty-two day old receipt seems foolish to me.
In the case of a dumpster vac, they will take it back anytime. Even after hours. Just drive by and throw the thing in.
