As I write this a mugu has been verifying the security of his payment for 30 hours in a row and is still at it - I haven't noticed any long breaks when I took a look at the session and every question has taken a couple of minutes because he has written elaborate answers. He's very slow so he hasn't set a record yet but if he continues until tomorrow afternoon (GMT) he'll set a record in the new system and the MTCN will flash in front of him on Thursday but I don't think he'll be able to stay awake that long but I thought I should ask my fellow baiters how long you think a mugu can stay awake in the cafe? I don't think he'll stop because he realizes anything because I don't think he's able to think rationally now.

Edit: The mugu gave up after 33 hours.
Edit2: Correction: He just took a two-hour-nap and then continued.
Edit3: I should've mentioned long time ago that this is pwwbear's pet so he/she should get the credit - I just gave the mugu a new code from customer care when the mugu complained (pwwbear still used the old site).
Edit4: This session ended after 67 and a half hours but he obviously took a few breaks. More in my post in the beginning of page 3.

I wasn't aware you could time them. I've had lads go through a lot of questions. I usually start out by sending them only a few and they write back that they couldn't get the money. Then I slap them and send another and gradually increase the questions until I'm sick of them and enter the ol "0" so they can answer questions till they drop. I also increase the "payment" amount to give them incentive. Works every time. Greedy greedy mugus! Rolling Eyes

You can check the timestamps on the questions - the mugu timestamps are from the computer that the mugu is using (and sometimes inaccurate, it seems) and the server timestamps are from the server (and thus accurate). It turned out that this mugu withstood 33 hours since he has given up now. Sometimes they take breaks in answering but I didn't notice any long breaks so he must've sat there all the time.

Wow!!! He's back for more! I took a look at the session again and he only took a two-hour-nap or something and continues answering now.

Edit: He took another break (half an hour) but is once again back for more.

He's still at it and now he has actually picked up the pace so taking a break was good for him - if he manages to keep his current pace he'll set a record for the new system within 4-5 hours, I guess.

Incredible... and this guy wants to take advantage of other people's naivety ?
He's answered normal questions for about 5 minutes, and has been answering to questions such as :

How falarian are you? Have you ever visited Zekihe? What uses for itium do you know of? Have you ever visited Cisugov?

for more than a full day ? Without ever wondering if everything is normal ?
I can barely imagine his frustration. What is his current completion level ? 99.9% ?

Well, he can't possibly be thinking clearly (or thinking at all) anymore because he's been doing it since noon on Saturday (GMT). He's at 33 % now and might just be determined enough to continue to 100 % if he can - probably taking a nap every now and then and apparently cafe opening hours aren't a problem for him. I wonder what happens if he does indeed reach 100 % and then (obviously) fails to get the MTCN?

No, he won't be able to fall asleep like that since the system won't accept it - he has to fall asleep with a complete sentence.

Maybe there should be a new security measure implemented: idle for more than 5 minutes and you have to start over. Laughing

More thank likely as I believe it is impossible for the human body to go 33 hours without sleep. However, the bottom line is its wasting a lot of mugu time and is wasting the time of more than one lad as they are having to answer in shifts; so kudos to you Scrooge Thumbs up

The human body can stay awake as long as it needs, but hallucinations(36hours?) and death(~5 days) may occure soon Smile

Yesterday I was awake for 32 hours, and could have been more, but had no reason to.

but I remember once hearing that the body could not go more than about 24 hours without sleep and people that claim they have will have dropped off for a few minutes without being consiously aware they have done so, but that might be a load of old rubbish Laughing

The current world record for the longest period without sleep is 11 days, set by Randy Gardner in 1965. Four days into the research, he began hallucinating. This was followed by a delusion where he thought he was a famous footballer. Surprisingly, Randy was actually functioning quite well at the end of his research and he could still beat the scientist at pinball.

It looks like Scrooge McDuck's lad was a wimp for giving up after such a short time. Laughing

I have hallucinated and then not slept, but I was at a festival at the time.

My lads have a bad habit of logging in, then giving up at zero questions. No wonder they never get my money. Rolling Eyes
