(edit) you're looking at the wrong set of numbers. The ones you need are 212.44.94.80. Always go for the ones closer to the end of the headers rather than the ones at the top.

Frank, there's been an outbreak of usage of the various satellite internet service providers among the russian romance scammers.
We are seeing the Fokus satcom, Planetsky, and now this swedish outfit increasingly in the headers.
I don't see any need for the scammers to use this, unless its a massive operation employing a lot of people, operating hundreds of personas. Or.....they're just making so much money they can afford the convenience. I'm thinking the larger groups are using this for convenience, and to avoid detection by authorities.
There's no need to use this to keep the victims from figuring out something is up in the headers, the victims don't know to look!
Baiters are a minor irritation, which I encourage 'us' to change!
(Haven't had a death or legal action threat in a month!)
I'm guessing its a little 'self preservation' move to keep out of sight of the cops, who rarely look for them, anyway.

Believe it or not, but there a lot of people, many legit, that try to communicate using Babel fish. Someone who does not speak english does not have a clue just how badly the translation comes out. They think that it's magically converting all the colloquial expressions into perfect English not realizing how much laughs the people on the other side get.

More frequently than not, they don't read your letters, or pay much attention to them. They may scan it to gauge interest, and sometimes to answer a question.
I'm not sure slang words will confuse them.
