Reporting Scams to the FTC

Hey guys, first post on a forum, so I'm sorry if the formatting is bad. I was wondering if y'all report your baits to the FTC or not. I just reported my first real bait to them, and I feel pretty good about it, but I wanted to know whether or not this is advisable. I probably should have asked before I did it haha. Any advice on whether I did the right thing or not? Thanks in advance.

I'm not from the USA, so I might not be fully aware of what the FTC is, and what they are capable of doing.

Having said that, I can tell you that, generally, law enforcement will not be interested in a single scam. Furthermore, the chances are that the scammer is not in the USA, which makes investigation and prosecution even more difficult.

I wouldn't count on the FTC taking any action...but I hope I am wrong.
