This was one of my first ever baits. I started five months ago, in August, and only finished just recently.

Work into the Post office and demand to buy a Money Order or Cash Order
any amount but limit is always $1000 times any amount you can afford
and You will be ask for a Receivers Name and address

I know you said you lost the original scam format but you might want to send them an email from a different account asking to resend their offer because all your mails got deleted by a hack. You still have her address because you added her to your contacts way back when. If they resend the original scam you should post it to Scamwarners.com to get the word out. I Googled the name on the PO Box and that name and box number is posted on a German anti-scam forum regarding a different scam format that involves the "Walmart Foreign Remittance Department" somehow. These jokers need some exposure at Scamwarners.com as it alerts others and provides baiters an opportunity to dole out some well deserved lad pain.

With regards to the home addresses of Chandler and Johnathan, I specifically picked them to be on an empty stretch of desert. In the extremely small chance that the scammer actually did something, I wanted to make sure their was nothing at the addresses I gave.

Hi Pickled,

Thanks for clarifying on the address. We see people post things that can lead back to real locations, so we remove addresses just to be safe. If you give us a note in the future that the location is remote and fake, that helps. Also keep in mind if a forum is not behind a login, your lad could potentially google the location and find your post Wink

I use an address that is similarly along a desolate stretch of road, and I picked a likely "number" that corresponds to a location under a lot of trees in case my lads use Google Maps. I tell them the house is in a thick of trees & can't be seen from the road.

^^^ Elmo was way less verbose than this Sister character and he seems too stuborn and flighty to abide by script. Elmo also constantly used the phrase "tell me I want to know" over and over in his demands. I don't see that here. This scam involved a US based mule to send money orders to and I can't fathom Elmo ever reaching that level. He's way too abrasive to be an integral part of a lad network. I was surprised when Elmo said he has friends. I think you just have another asshole on your hands trying to rob you blind. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them.

We see similar styles that tend to be regional, and punctuation can often be presented as a creative guess rather than an educated stab at being correct. Unless you're fighting autocorrect, it's not a bad idea to mimic their errors to reinforce them. In other words, don,t correct them! Cool
