I am relatively new to the baiting scene and a lad has asked me for an ID so i do i make a fake id or just stall?? |

Hi bjmnd! Welcome to Eater! We're hoping you've read the forum rules already and you're baiting safely with a fake email that has nothing to do with your real life identity.
That said, we never send a fake ID because the scammer could re-use that in a scam and that would be tragic. There are quite a few options available to you, however!
- You could send the scammer a link to your id, (blue text is your friend)
- You could tell him you already sent it and why does he keep asking for it?
- You can simply ignore his request and send other information instead (fake info, of course).
- You can also say you had to give your ID over to the police when you were last arrested for public nudity, so you have to talk to your pole officer. Really, the sky is the limit

Better to stall or just provide them with bogus information that can't be tied to the real world. Even if you doctor a fake ID they are likely to reuse it somehow in other scams unbeknownst to you. Best to avoid all that. Lads think that requesting such information increases the legitimacy of their scam attempts. Put them in their place by telling them it is illegal to send copies of government IDs due to identity theft reasons. You can also just ignore them and move the bait along by telling them that you want to continue doing business and politely ask them what the next step is. Spoiler Alert: that step will be a request for payment. As a baiter you control the situation. They want your money so they can either waste your and their time asking for bullsh!t information or they can get on with it by launching the "begging for money" phase. They can take it or leave it at that point. Good luck! |

I just sent them an unopenable jpg or pdf - it seems they don’t really care if it opens or not as long you send something. Plenty of services for this on-line. |

^^^ Some lads will insist on an ID that opens, most likely because they have the intention of reusing it in future, but in the majority of cases, the request is just to see how "bought in" the victim is. |
