A few years ago, Photobucket decided to monetize what they were doing. They held accounts hostage, at first, requiring a paid membership before images would reappear on boards such as Eater. Then, after a lot of push back, they released the images, including a watermark, instead. However, a simple change of a digit or two in the forum link allowed the full image to appear, unaltered. Recently, Photobucket has kept the watermark and now blurs the images, too.

There are many, many old images here on Eater that are part of very important threads. This is very inconvenient, but all hope is not lost. Unlike when we lost "Upload Eater" some years ago, these images remain. You simply need to right click on the image and download it. It's not convenient, but it's still possible.

If you're using Chome you can grab a browser extension that will swap over the URLS automatically for you, thus removing the blur and watermark: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-hotlink-fix/kegnjbncdcliihbemealioapbifiaedg?hl=en

Right clicking and downloading didn't work for me for some reason, but that Chrome extension worked like a charm! Nice find Palmergeddon.
