So I have a recovery scammer that wants $130 to get my settlement from the Nigerian government.

My character is homeless.

So I just told him, no problem, I won facebook's lottery and I should have that money by the end of the week so I will wire the payment then.

Interesting plot twist. If anyone is interested I'll keep you updated on how it plays out.

Depending on how he replies, this could be very interesting! I think it would be hilarious to get him properly hooked, but then at every turn have your character fall for another scam and insist that you are about to be rich. Introduce a bunch of fake lads (massbait?) and watch him squirm as he tries to avoid getting his dollar chopped.

This dollachop modality has lots of benefits - it strengthens your hook on the lad by reinforcing in his mind your gullibility while allowing you to delay and become more cautious in your dealings with him.

I'm definitely interested in the outcome.
