welcome johnkelly. Read a few stickies and sign up for a mentor. That's a good start. Remember to always bait safe, never use your real life info or emailaddress, and most of all: Have fun!

As with many, I've been following the excellent exploits of 419 Eater members for some time now and remain in awe of the amazing results!

Scamming (in all its individual and institutionalised forms) is malice a forethought, designed specifically to deceive and harm others . Thank you for reflecting that back to the scammers themselves.

Hope to be able to able to contribute in some useful and annoying (to scammers) ways - lots to learn!

I partake in “Ok” style scambaiting. Basically, I try to see how many times I can respond with just “Ok” before I have to start giving out totally not fake info.

Please don't let it frustrate you, though. Videos may be edited to present only the "good stuff" primed and ready to be monetized. Think of it like any other movie...there's lots of material left on the cutting room floor.

I only recently discovered scam baiting when watching a YouTube video of a comedian called James veitch. I've since watched lots of baiting videos and it seems like a great sport that is both funny and worthwhile.
