I'm asking because I need a place to unleash my excitement!! I've been collecting Schleich World of History Knights figurines since highschool. Brand new, they can run anywhere from $5-$30. Schleich recently discontinued that product line, so I'm always on the lookout for used ones.

Today I stopped by a garage sale and purchased a set of 21 figures and a castle for $50, all in relatively good condition. The owner advertised them as Schleich, but when I inspected them at home, I discovered (with mild disappointment) they were not Schleich, but Papo (equally high-quality competitor). I am still extremely happy though, because the entire set retails for $300+. Guess I'm a Schleich and Papo collector now! Today was a good day Very Happy

To my fellow baiters, what do you collect? (aside from lad trophies, of course Laughing

VW T1 (and a few T2 and american classics) diecast scale models, guitars, flutes. And yes, I play with all of them except the cars, nobody is allowed to touch those Laughing

Magic the Gathering trading cards. I play with them too. Chess lost its luster at some point, so I moved onto something else.

I have been an obsessive collector my entire life. Unfortunately I can't talk about my collections here as they are (mostly) much too publicly known and would likely out my RL persona. I'm all over the web, for better or worse. Wink

I am a huge fan of Music Man guitars and basses. My collection isn't as big as I'd like it to be (optimal size is n+1 where n is the number at any time), but that way they all get played regularly

Old analogue rangefinder cameras, preferably ex Soviet era or japanese.
No collection per se, but I have a few, all working and in use.

Dust, Crabs, Money at a pool table...

I was once called a 'Clutterbug' as I collect antiques. Tools, Radios, Outboard motors, Guns, Ashtrays, Bottles, Anything with Acme on it, Pennies, Liquor, Books, Magazines, Old coins, Cigarette boxes....

If one is patient one can buy anything at a yard sale except for maybe an elephant but that might be due to my location. Dunno.

I collect old and new woodworking tools. Hand Planes are my main weakness.

No one else in my family has any interest whatsoever, so I'm taking them all with me to the next life.

Horse brasses and leather martingales from which to hang them. I have about 180 but had to stop as there are only so many walls available.

As both my parents were born in Wales, it's a nice reminder of the "old country".

Memories, both good and bad. I don't ever remember making a consicious decision to start collecting them, but to date I have thirty three.

First Day Covers GB stamps from Queen Elizabeth 2 Coronation 3rd of June 1953 until the present day. Also managed to pick up some in the USA when we were there and stamps in blocks of twelve, have one each design.

Latest's is British Railway 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles have so far managed to buy 56, I have completed 21 of them so far, (Can't get away from working on the London Underground Railway for 41 years, they have been in my life for 70 years),

Up until recently, I collected bones. Every time I'd come across one I'd pick it up and clean it. I used to have a box full of them in my closet but with a child, I kinda had to get rid of them. I used them in a couple of baits when I was baiting.
