I'm wondering whether his nonchalant demands for $2,000 dollar iTunes cards and Rolex watches reflects this, in that he has no idea what he's really asking for. Perhaps he's under the impression that these two currencies are as over-inflated as the Nigerian naira and that ordinary people are paid monthly in six figure numbers and that, if they are not, then they are dirt poor, as he claims to be. Hard to believe a lad could be so ill-informed, but, who knows?

Alternatively, maybe he truly believes that ordinary people in developed countries really are extremely rich on a massive scale. That might be nearer to the truth, as I have discovered that to be a bit of a myth that quite a lot of lads like to believe. It enables them to justify their own behaviour as not doing any real harm, as their victims can well afford any losses and won't be badly damaged, financially.

If the story of his whole nuclear family being dead is true, then that is very sad and I felt sad reading how he'd had a nice little family, but they were dead now.

But, there again, as we know, lads lie.

On Friday the 22nd of March Mrs Verbeek presented herself in my office to talk about the issue we previously discussed. It pleased me to hear that you have finally admitted what we both knew all along, that the tattoos you showed me were fake.
Mrs. Verbeek showed me the pictures of the one on your forearm, the one she designed for you and I had my forensic expert look at it. He came to the conclusion that that one is real. The thing that is so strange about this whole situation is that when that one was real all along, why did you try to deceive everybody with fake tattoos and did you have this real tattoo from the start or did you make it later?
Irregardless, now we need to continue with the process that was started by Mrs. Verbeek a few months ago. That is, if you are still interested. So the two questions I have at hand are:

#1 Are you serious to continue with this case?
#2 Why did you lie to us and how will we know that you can be trusted?

I have seen many old crook here in my offices and nothing is strange to me, but the one thing I know is that when one is honest about what happened and why, it will make my job a whole lot easier.
