Not my first scambait but one of my most successful and effective ones yet! In this scam, they massage your ego saying that they have invited you to a massive summit, all expenses paid, in the US and in Senegal, with one condition that you pay for a hotel room at a nominated hotel in Dakar, Senegal. Needless to say, the hotel doesn't exist and after you pay for your room, they disappear! As the 'conference' and the 'hotel' websites were hosted on jimdo.com, I have reported them and they've been taken down.

Part 1: Contacting the 'Secretariat'

Part 3: Dealing with the 'Secretariat' in the meantime

In the meantime dear 'Dr Sarah Linda' was pressuring me for the hotel receipt.
