Great start! First, if you have not done so already, report that bank account to a Mod. Second, the world is your oyster. There are all kinds of reasons why your attempted bank transfer is delayed or does not go through. First thing-we do NOT send ID to scammers. Did you read the Stickies? Sending IDs, no matter how fake, allows the lad to reuse them on a subsequent victim.

There are many ways to avoid sending ID, including sending files that don't open or ignoring the request.

I'm not going to edit your post. Just read our TOS.

Some of the ways to avoid the ID is copy a .dll file, rename it "ID" and send it. Or send a blank file or one that won't open. Or images from the Scambaiting Tool Box. When you lad protests, tell him it opens just fine for you.

Or tell him you have no passport. Or your driver's license is being renewed. You have no scanner or it's broken.
