I recently have gotten several of these emails in my collector box (call it `me at yahoo.co.uk)

I just love the `absolutely not spam' bit, and the `cant be considered spam' bit- although as they didnt actually include a working link for part 2 I think it does actually fall back into the spam department tho lol

This came complete with a clickable unsubscribe lnk that leads to `me at gmail'
Now it just so happens that I actually own `me at gmail' as well for skyping, so I nicely asked the spammer to stop sending me spam, and for once they were nice and I agreed with myself that I would stop sending myself spam....... LOL

Shame that people STILL click on emails on randomly sent emails- there are at least twenty `seriously PO' people sending `me at gmail' nasty emails telling me to stop sending me spam or they would report me to various FBI/Scotland Yard/police departments or had already done so....

(I xxxx'd out the street address in the email sent, I dont know who or what is there and thought it best to mask it just in case)

Just a hint-Google may decide to shut down your addy if it feels the SPAM is originating there. I'd suggest shutting down the account, especially if it's just a catcher.

I'm thinking they wont, as they arent actually being sent from my account, just spoofed to appear that way
I also did a trick that someone mentioned here, and the first email (sent to the same account from itself and cc'd to one of my other accounts is that this account is used to track 419ers and to email the other account to ask questions (its another holder account btw, not one of my RL accounts)
I actually found this works, one of my `pets' lodged a complaint and tried to have my account shut down one time, I contacted them, and after a few emails back and forth, not only was the account reopened, but the person I was talking to was having a ball trawling through many of our stories here!

Good point-I usually leave an explanation in my drafts folder. If your contact is around, a lot of baiters leave a note that the account is used for 419 scambaiting if Google starts looking at the account.
