This is the story of how I got a hitlad to record the entire first book of "A Song of Ice & Fire" - A Game of Thrones, by George R.R. Martin. At the time of posting, the bait is still going, but I have the most important part: all the audio... about 36 hours.

Once he starts doing his work properly, every file he sends is approximately 30 minutes long. His initial test recordings I uploaded to Soundcloud, and can be found linked where relevant in the emails. The actual audio book recordings I edited together to make several videos for Youtube. Here are the links. Each of them are 3 to 4 hours or longer. The sound quality is quite bad in some of them, unfortunately. I will think about doing an edit where I remove the background hiss...

Don't worry about the equations. They are unimprtant since this is just s ample of your voice that we need. Leave out any mathematical parts and just read 3 minutes of text, that will do fine.

How much you read is entirely up to you. For every 30 minutes of audio you'll be paid $12,000 USD, so what I would advise you do is this:

Start a timer, begin recording as normal and every time 30 minutes has passed, say "This is a Lazy Eye Audio Books production, read by (Say your name)" and continue reading. Or, if you want to stop then stop. So let's say you record for 2 hours before you stop, for example. That would be 30 minutes x 4, which would mean $48,000 USD for you. If you want to read all 759 pages then we will pay according to how long the resulting audio is.

So if you could start off this time by saying "This is a Lazy Eye Audio Books production, read by (Say your name)", then the title of the book, and the author. Then start on page 10 as discussed (the Prologue).

After all, the feedback company's real goal in including the question was to find talented, natural artists for their new project - and this particular drawing has had more positive reaction from the test subjects in the target demographic than those of the next best artist.

Concept artists for this project will be paid generously for a few hand drawn pictures, and if chosen for the final work, will receive a handsome payment, plus royalties of all sales.

If the lad could just send some more examples of his brilliant hand drawn pictures of animals, he could be rewarded!

Of course, once chosen for the project, he would need to provide drawing's of the happy croc's animal friends... (you could let him be creative at first, then if you wanted to be a real bastard, add a few characters that the company insists must be included the book, eg Barry the Bunyip, Charlie the Chupacabra, etc - and see what he comes up with - have some fun with it!)

Given the way you have controlled him thus far, you could possibly get him to come up with a complete, authored, illustrated and voice read children's book! Smile
