them from Cote d Ivoire still want to kill we all and steal our
package from us.

We tried our best to save your life and the package to make sure you
did not enter into trouble with your company or Brother Dan Hamilton,
because if it lost Brother and his wife sister Bitty that sent the
package will not take it easy with your Head office in the United
States. I thought by now you could have learned lesson out of what
happened to we all in the past.

To be honest, God don't want this package to lost from your side, that
is the reason why he saved we all and the package up till now. But if
anything happen to the package or the package lost on your side at
this point. We both are not free from the stress and frustration we
are into at moment, because if we informed Brother Dan Hamilton that
the package lost and his wife sister Betty might die in a heart attack
at the hospital since she still in critical condition.

Brother Dan Hamilton cannot leave the matter to just die that way,
because sister Betty is his beloved wife. I think he will hold GPS
responsible, which your company in the United States will not
be happy with you. We have already gave Brother Dan Hamilton all the
assurance to calm down that we are going to get their package your
company deliver wrong address back to Ghana to avoid problems in the
future

As the case maybe, I will try my possible best to take the risk and
see if i can locate the brown building adjacent to the Gasuha road as
you directed. Since I'm close to you, we have been trying our best on
this package to make sure we sort out this issue amicably without any
inconveniences.

Everyone has pointed out how amazingly hooked these lads are. What's most amazing to me is that I think they are actually buying into their own rhetoric...I really think they've gone Blues Brothers and think that they'll get their package because God is protecting their package from the evildoers. Ironically, the amount of fake trouble that Mr L has created for himself has actually strengthened the bait, instead of straining belief as it often does. Franklin actually thinks that if the package wasn't destined for him, then it would have disappeared a long time ago...

It's crystal clear that the next step is for Moses to hastily escape from Achmed's clutches, and go to nearby Potiskum, where he will stay for one night at an easily locatable hotel Smile

while waiting for a GPS van to pick him up as his boss has had enough of this tomfoolery and is dispatching a fellow to bring him to Niamey posthaste.

And as soon as Franklin says he's in Niamey, Moses can report that two days ago the van broke down on the road....he couldn't get a signal for his phone, and didn't have access to email until just now...Franklin will just have to find a hotel there to hunker down. Maybe during the day he can try to locate GPS HQ a few times...

^^ There's a lot in what you say, Heisenberg222. The lads also seemed convinced that God had saved them, Mr Moses and the package from the evil Kofiboyz when they were on their way back to Ghana. Almost magical thinking, this faith that God is always on their side. Strange, from our point of view, considering that they are scamming and stealing.

Potiskum works for the Niger plan; they can head to Gashua afterwards and from there they are set to head towards the border. Perhaps the company van won't arrive and Moses will have to find other means to head to Niamey...

Let us suppose that GPS loses patience with Moses and sends someone to bring him back, delivery made or not; would the Lad(s) be confident enough to either (a) urge Moses to get moving before the agent arrives, or (b) try to convince the agent to let Moses deliver? It might add to the confusion and worry.

interesting idea. let me add a few things to it Smile

gps loses patience and demands that moses proceeds with other deliveries, as he is apparently not able to fulfill this one.

and now, our transportation company sends the most serious person in their staff. a guy, who is a war veteran from iraq, afghanistan and so on. and now, his only duty is deliver packages. and he does that with military precision (even swiss clocks envy him). when he contacts the lads and tells them, that they have to be at a certain location at 0700, they have to be there. he leaves at 0705. if that window of opportunity is missed... that's life, set up a new delivery appointment.

of course, he hasn't yet dealed with so wicked persons like uzumbo and his gang... Twisted Evil

However, just to make sure that the lads aren't lazy, he can only meet them in Nguru. Moses has no problem getting there, but he forgets to pick the lads up and thus they need to find a way to get to Nguru in time. Mr. Grumpy (the transportation company person) is so impressed with the lads' precision that he wants them to help out, that is if they arrive on time. If the lads go through with this perhaps Uzumbo can lure Moses to another location so then the lads are racing to beat Mr. Grumpy to the package.

It seems like Achmed is not popular in their town, because he is not
serious in life as a repairer. I will advise you to tell him to couple
everything he loosed from your van, if he cannot refund the money you
paid. Leave the money and manger move your van out of his workshop to
people that is serious for work in life. Before he will start selling
some of your spare parts to someone else to request another money from
you, while you are risking your life too.

I told my partner Mr Eric that you have entered another wrong hand
with your company van and I explained everything you wrote about
Achmed. He asked me that Achmed you are talking about that asks you
question is a force man or police, that he don't have any right to ask
you what is inside your van you respond for the first time because is
not his duty to ask you about that. I understand that nobody has legal
right to ask you what is inside your van and your respond exactly what
is inside the package, even the force men. In fact anybody that ask
you what is inside the package and you have legal right to respond to
the person that your Head office sent the package insured to deliver
it to the customers and you have no right to open customers package
the person will understand that you know your duty.

Please update me the development on the van at the moment and try to
move it out from there back to the city. I assured you that you will
get good repairer to help you repair your van within 24hours.

Below is my cell phone number i use to browsed and when Achmed is
around you, please call my line and give Achmed the phone to direct
any available taxi around me to help locate the place. If it's
necessary for me to come or you move the van out from there without
delay.

for your safety.
Our major concerns about this current situation we all are facing, is
because delay is dangerous and the workshop you sent your van cannot
fixed it in time.

That is the reason why i advised you to bring your van back to the
city of Damaturu and you will see people that is perfect on the field,
they are desperate and serious to fixed any fault in all kinds of
moving machines.

I have made all the necessary inquiries here to know if there's any
spare parts called what Achmed mentioned. I understand that he want to
use the opportunity to collect unnecessary money from you that he
never make in his field, since he opened workshop of his own.
I will also let you know what happened to where i'm staying last
night, before I received another sad message from Brother Dan Hamilton
this morning.

The securities that are guilding and protect the bus station
complained to the person that helps me received money with his account
and they said to him why he allowed me to stay infront of his shop
that I have been moving around the station without moving out for few
days. He pleaded to the security men that I'm a passenger and I have
problem of cash at the moment and the banks are not working today,
that he will help me to travel on Monday for them to allow me to stay
up to Monday.

Please understand me at this point and look for a way out to bring
your van out of Achmed's workshop if he cannot fixed it today for
safety reasons, since i cannot locate Achmed's repair shop in brown
building adjacent to the Gasuha road. I will wait for you up to Monday
afternoon, before I will start my journey back to Ghana. I hope your
will understand the situation and stressed we all are facing in this
package.

I plead you to help sister Betty at this point to deliver the package
as Brother Dan Hamilton directed you. I hope it will help reduce the
stress and troubles we are facing now. You should move the package to
the nearest UPS courier service office and ship the package insure
with the name on the shipping receipt, it will be safe because the UPS
Courier Service have shipping facilities in Ghana. We have tried our
best and take the risk to make sure we sort out this matter amicably
as you promised, but I couldn't understand what is happening.

I wanted to write and give you an update on Betty's condition.
To be frank, the doctors have told me she will not survive. She has not
eaten for over one week now. The doctors tell me she will pass on soon
yet they are confused because by the grace of GOD she remains alive
despite lack of food!

Brother Eric, do you have any good news to report on the package? I truly
believe that it is the hope to see you finally collect the package and
deliver it to the children that is keeping Betty alive! I believe your
prayers along with brother Franklins prayer are keeping her alive!

I'm interested in where you're going with this Mr L...I'm of two minds here, I'm thinking that the only things holding the bait together are the lads complete trust in you and their belief that getting this package is their "destiny"...if the package goes missing then there's nothing to chase...

Now would be a good time for a ransom note from Uzumbo: bring $1000 to Nguru within 24 hours or the package is gone. If they somehow fail to do that have the aforementioned person from the transportation company pick it up leading to further chaos.

The taxi told me that Maiduguri would be the closest large city so I said that would be fine and told him to get here quickly!

I just arrived and am finally getting some rest. What a horrible day! Now I have no van and this package is extremely heavy and difficult for me to move around.

Please Mr. Franklin, can you come back to Maiduguri? I am here now and I have no van so I have nowhere to go!

Hey Mr Lebowski, longer time, no speak, I know. Still, following Eric and Franklin's antics with great interest and utter fascination. You appear to be running out of Nigerian soil by the looks of it. - There is a further concern I have regarding your well-being: As you select further convenient locations for the clients by swiping the page of Nigeria with your finger, there is a risk that the friction arising thereof may cause a slight increase in skin surface temperature. Please do not injure yourself! - I am honoured to be still referenced and fondly remembered. Ohhh Mr Franklin ... what a guy! - On the other hand, languishing here in an Ivorian jail has become somewhat irksome. I would have expected you to provide me with effective legal assistance by now.

Hmm, I wonder what the normal jail sentence is for iPad/van theft in Mali? Perhaps Mr. B will get released on good behavior soon...

I hate to be a bait-pooper, but I really think this is the end of the line here. Maybe, just maybe, Franklin will head back to Maiduguri, but reading between the lines here his mind is already set to go back to Ghana.

I hope I'm wrong.

I think he'll head back, and Moses will have to tell him that he was picked up by a van and taken to Niamey with the package. Because of all the trouble, the package will be held there in a secure facility guarded by top men, a la Raiders of the Lost Ark. Then Dan will have to convince the lads to move again by telling them that he lied to Betty, telling her that the package was delivered safely, to save her life. Betty is insisting on a photo of the children holding the iPads, so someone is going to have to go to Niamey to get the package...insurance or sending the package back to the US is not an option here...
