If Franklin were to go to Chad he would have to backtrack, and he may be annoyed that he is going in a circle. Niger via the route that I suggested would be ideal, and Niger isn't exactly too pleasant either. Maybe Uzumbo could brag to Franklin that his friend Achmed is keeping track of Moses and that he will strike soon and do something terrible. Maybe say that Moses also needs to pick up a package at the border crossing to take to Maiduguri, so Franklin can either help out or wait a few days for Moses to return from the border and take Franklin to Maiduguri. Moses should really contact Eric and ask him to come.

I worry that he may give up if it's obvious that the route was chosen to annoy him, so if we take him to the border first so Moses can pick up the package backtracking can be justified more easily than "Whoops, I went to the wrong city!". Going to Niger is also closer to Ghana, so it would be easier for Eric to join in. There are also less major cities so it would be harder to get to.

help, because he has borrowed a lot of money from people and friend. I
told him to try for me at this point, because what i'm passing through
here is terrible only me and my God knows.

If he succeed with the money and i will search for someone else
account that will help me to collect the money, so that i will have
money at hand. I hope it will help me to locate you soonest and after
they work on the van alright we can sort out this issue once and for
all.

I'm pretty sure that my route is the "easiest" way to cross the border. Have Moses give Franklin the route that he will take to Niamey since he doesn't have that much time. Maybe he can stop at a nice halfway point for a day to rest, giving Franklin ample time to meet him and Eric time if he wants to join in. I suppose that Eric is the one funding Franklin; let's see how long this can last.

These lads are unbelievably polite aren't they? Actually, the fact that little Franklin and Eric are so nice is the only reason that I am decided not to send them toward Chad. If they weren't scammers they would probably be pretty nice guys.

just an idea: register 2 mail addresses which are nearly identical to the addresses of the boys. and then try to convince both of them that there are problems.

eric should be convinced, that you are in maiduguri or even chad

and franklin should be convinced that eric will come very soon.

if they find out that you are toying with them, it's the wicked uzumbo, who is even more wicked than they thought Twisted Evil

if they don't notice anything, they'll be in even deeper troubles than now...

of course, that assumption is based on the chance, that they just use one email address.

The van should be repaired soon so the journey can continue elsewhere. I like the idea below. Since Eric has not experienced Damaturu send him there, and Franklin can be informed that Eric will meet him in Nguru since Moses told him that he would be heading to Matsena for the border crossing. Maybe Achmed can be revealed to be an agent of Uzumbo and Moses will be forced to escape.

What is there to keep Eric and Franklin from phoning or texting each other? They could just as easily use FB, Kik, or Whatsapp. I would doubt the dim-witted duo communicate via email.

In defense of Mr Franklin

Yastreb, a few posts ago you wrote the above in order to make fun of Mr Franklin, which struck me as very unfair and unkind. However, it was also ill-informed of you as he never meant to convey the meaning of 'to scorch something slightly'. He was in fact speaking about 'the use of voice to produce songs' (or sworn statements). As he was referring to an event gone by, he was grammatically forced to use the past tense of the verb 'to sing', which led to: "Mr Franklin, that singed a sworn statement". - Granted, "singed" is not the correct past tense verb form here, but you should have made allowances for the fact that English is difficult for him. We have to acknowledge the fact that he did indeed know that a past tense was required, but to expect him to know and make use of the correct form "sanged" is a little too much to ask under the circumstances.
