Actually if he singed the statement, it should be black and crispy around the edges.

Funny how his choice of meeting spot agreed with mine... I really wonder if Eric knows about this. Moses should contact him separately and tell him that Franklin is headed to Damaturu and that if he wants to claim the package it needs both Eric and Franklin to be there.

I firmly believe that you have understood all their tracks and they

does anyone have the impression that eric just abandoned franklin over there?

regarding his problem of receiving funds while being in nigeria: there are two laws causing problems.

1. the nigerian receiver has to have a bank account.

2. a ghanaian sender is allowed to send an amount up to something like 50 US cent.

both laws can cause a lot of troubles.

I am getting the impression that Franklin may very well be on his own.

I am thinking to myself when the correct time will be to spring the idea on him that he needs Eric to be with him or else he is even worse off...certainly Eric will be required in order to get the package; maybe Eric will be required for a hotel room to be booked?

Ask him to meet Moses outside of the Yobe Mosque. Tell him that some of his agents will be there, so he should ask people if they have "seen Moses"; this may irritate some people. If he can't find the right mosque then maybe the university would be a better spot. Have Moses send Eric an email and ask him to meet them in Damaturu. Ideally we can slowly move Franklin to the border. I suggest Baiomari next. From there, maybe Nguru then Matsena, where he will be pleasantly in the middle of nowhere.

5 days ago, eric went home and said that he'll be back in 4 days. oh, that's yesterday.

what would happen, if uzumbo clones franklins mail address and tells him, that he is in a nice town called gambaru, and that eric should come to him. gambaru is right at the border to cameroon and equally far from maiduguri as damaturu.

would add a crapton of confusion to them Very Happy

then, he has nothing other to do than going home.

if eric really abandoned his friend over there, how about this:

moses has other jobs to do, other deliveries and so. he is already spending 4 weeks to get that delivery done, and the managers of his company are becoming angry with him, being so lazy.

so, moses has to do some deliveries in chad, that will take him approximately one week. he can do one last attempt of meeting franklin, then franklin has to wait for a week. going home isn't an option for franklin, that would be a round trip of 4500km, he just has to swallow it.

of course, franklin is free to follow moses to chad.

if eric didn't start his journey back yet, he might wait even longer at home.

the difference is:

chad is "hell #2". if he gets caught, they send him back to where he came from, and that's "hell #1", maiduguri and surrounding neighbors.

there is a chance, that they send him back to ghana, or that they keep him by claiming, that he is member of boko haram (prison would be "hell #3".

I just want to see him sweating bullets, waiting for the return of moses, who has other obligations too.

Robert, I like that idea. I'm thinking north to Niger would be a fun adventure for our little friend eventually.

I care more about long days in hash conditions than anything else, regardless of location. It may not be great comedy, but just think of what its like for little Franklin. I didn't write to him for almost 48 hours, because I know he will put up with it. Very Happy

I do wish Eric would come back though. Right now it feels like Robin is out there without his Batman.
