Here's a sales pitch spam I received on an account I often play off as a lad. Just throwing this out there for any interested parties to review as an example of ladspeak to use as practice when impersonating fraudsters:

It is possible that this is actually a baiter trying to hook lads with a fake mail blaster offer. I know that modality has been used on occasion.

I concur. Something about the last paragraph especially just doesn't click right to me. The pidgin looks somewhat...over the top and artificial on the one hand and then very rudimentary (repeating the few common words over and over again) on the other hand. It's a bit rubbing it too much to the recipient's face. But then, there are different ways as there are different pidgin speakers, so I'm not saying for sure. But I think Juan might be onto something here.

I think it's a baiter. The language is too heavily pidgin'd for a lad who can code well and wants to sell to serious players.

Also I rather dislike the term "ladspeak" as pidgin is widely spoken across Africa by millions of people who are not scammers. It's not exclusive to scammers by any means.

@NG That's a very good point I hadn't considered. Its easy to make generalizations and frequently unjustified. Last thing I would want is to paint all People in the region with the same stained brush the scammers deserve. Sincere apologies to any offended parties.

The same email is listed in three other places (Google "palapoly messanger") as a scam. It doesn't mean it's not a baiter, but if a baiter, he or she is being really careless with how it's mailed out. That part makes me think (hope) it's a lad.
