Fellow baiters, it's that time when we all celebrate an end to another year together. Below, we celebrate with some highlights from 2014. Feel free to post, adding your own highlights from your year at Eater.

January 1 - "Eaters Greatest Hits" went live. 419Eater opened up a new forum dedicated to showing off some of it's members best works.
January 2 - UK TV Channel 4 broadcasts a Documentary titled ‘Secrets of the Scammers,’ featuring several Eater members.
January 4 - Dr. Mike confirms his 50th safari, earning a 50th Safari Globe icon. He's only the second baiter in the history of Eater to accomplish this amazing feat.
January 5 - 419Eater is featured in a full-page article in the NY Times Sunday magazine, including an interview with our founder, Shiver.
June 20 - Capone, Nailgunner and myself were added to the moderating team.
In September, Eater celebrated its 11th Anniversary!
September 11 - Eater had our most users ever online at 1247.
September 19 - Juan Freizwidatt and Capone were awarded a golden pith helmet for an outstanding safari bait. A US-based scammer was safaried 21,000 miles!
September 21 - Justcold was awarded a golden piggy icon for his outstanding and inspiring work baiting and reporting scammer bank accounts. Not only did he organize the "Walk/500 in 6" and "Swine Farmer's Guild Walk" threads to inspire baiters to bait for bank accounts, but he also collected 100+ accounts from a single scammer.
November 19 - Big Al is awarded a Golden Piggy for his outstanding contributions to getting lad bank accounts shuttered.
December 27th - We moved to a new faster server. One or two small glitches but we are all happy in our new home now.
December 29 - Big X surpasses 5000 site kills in one year.
Our site killers stepped up the pace this year, adding 213 pages of threads to the offline fake sites forum between January 1 and December 31, 2014. With 30 threads to an index page, and many threads having more than one domain on them, that is well over 6390 fake sites researched, reported and killed in our fake sites forum at Eater. This is the highest total since we began keeping track in 2010, and a lot of lad anguish.
For the year, 2014, 8,200 bank accounts were reported to various banks all over the world.
Our BBQ fans also reported over 32,000 stolen credit cards in 2014

We just keep getting better and better. Great job and phenomenal year to all our members.

My year in Review:
I started 2014 with 360 total Bank accounts. I cleaned out my Baiter accounts so I would be ready to go on the 500 in 6 but started a new class of Refugees to be at the payment phase shortly after Jan 1. I finished the year at 1057.

I also only had 18 Credit Cards from Kelvin Coleman. Knowing that, John-BOI has been the biggest Bacon Burn I could have ever hoped for and we still have him in our midst today. I think one third of the above count must be from ole John-BOI. Laughing

I've added several new flags to my Siggy line this year. Many thanks to People like TheFae, Woody, Big-X, Artemis, and the other talented Website Killers down there.

I had my first bait that yielded 5 accounts in one E-mail. I was blessed (Or Lucky enough) to receive a Golden Piggy. I had my first Insult Bait. I successfully baited a Vlad far enough to receive a Bank account from them. (I still suck at Romance baits). I received my first outright death threat from a Knucklehead.

What will 2015 hold?
I guess I'll just have to wait and see......

My goal for 2015 is 2,015 Pink Piggies/SW listings !

I want to expand the flags and burnt pork. Not been much good at that yet.

I am totally in AWE at the wonders this site accomplishes.

Your work is all as 'top secret' as you have to keep that ATM card that is coming your way. So, on behalf of all the people you help but don't know you exist... Thank You.

Two highlights for me and they are maybe small... but meant so much. I actually spoke to a young girl on SW who had been almost scammed in an Nanny scam to go to New York. She had been this close to paying the fees and air fare they demanded from her. She was gutted poor kid... but a close escape.

Then a woman who was being scammed on FB. She was so sure her 'US General' was coming to her and her family for Christmas. She has lost her heart and $500 but it could have been so much worse. She couldn't understand how anyone could be so cruel and she really felt she truly loved him. She didn't send him the extra $1000 he'd asked for. I still didn't feel she truly believed me at times but she agreed to test him to find the truth.

A piggy here and there, but I was able to add a substantial amount of sand to the timers!

And the evil attorney (my favorite game) was successful at making a huge mess of things three times. We'll be bringing THAT back in 2015.

Small? No way! Well done and keep up the fine work. The pay here is shitty but the satisfaction is priceless.

What was going on that day? Was that the US Safari? I believe that was the major bait that was going on at that time. (at least major for me!)

I think my favorite events were watching the sites get nuked, the dedicated piggy hunts and the bbq collection! And calling Atlantalad in the middle of the night, yelling at him for incompetence and slamming the phone down in his ear.

Seriously, it's what we do as a community that I respect most-and how much lad pain 2015 will bring!

In the Summer, Dr Mike and me managed to get some Lads to travel for a Documentary by CBC, 'Dot.Con'. One flew from Paris to London and travelled to Rame Head. Two from London travelled to Plymouth Rail Station (and turned back, spooked). Dr Mike's 2 Lads travelled from London to Plymouth and were persuaded to take a taxi to The Barbican, where they were confronted on camera and were last seen legging it down the road.

Thanks everyone, for the congratulations on my site killing milestone of 5000+ sites for the year. I really appreciate the recognition, and I'm very honored to have merited a mention on the list of Eater highlights for 2014.

First, I'd like to thank my fellow site killers, without whom this would not have been possible. I want to recognize the excellent site killing team here and at AA419, in particular Zombie Brains, El Capitan Borracho, Artemis, Music Man, Cry Havoc, and Woody, who found and cataloged extraordinary numbers of fake sites this year and set them up for me to kill. I may get the flag for the kill, but I think finding the fake site in the first place is even more important and valuable, and I want to give them credit for doing such a great job at it.

Second, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the long walks, particularly Just Cold for setting them up. Posting my daily totals and seeing the great things the other walkers were doing gave me plenty of motivation to step up my site killing efforts.

I'd also like to mention some of my favorite moments from my baits this year, including sandtimers in February (John Well) and October (Rev Ozzy), and a safari in June (Rev Ozzy). I'd like to thank Bort for being an excellent co-baiter. We put a few lads through hell in 2014 with his Church modality, and we currently have a good bait going with Little Richard. I'm hoping we can get a sandtimer and safari out of him in 2015.

It's like golf -- I can tee up the ball but can't always see when it's gone! I agree, we have an excellent team. And it's always a treat when a baiter PM's with info, "can you kill this, my lad will go insane!" I can count on anyone on the sitekiller team to knock it out of the park. Sad Lad, indeed.
