A kuffar is a nonbeliever in Islam. The word, however, is considered a slur and has all kinds of negative connotations.

I'm writing 1awa1 as a member of Boko Haram and your average jihadist is probably likely to refer to non-muslims as kuffar at least a dozen times a day. lol

So.... here I was thinking this bait was probably over. Tim has been very quiet and avoiding email like the plague, and I have not heard from him in a couple of weeks.

Today, Mountain Goat graciously invited me to listen in on one of her calls to a lad, and then she asked if I had any lad numbers to pass along. There was a number long ago, but last time we called, it was offline. However.... MG gave the number a call, and when he picked up, she said, "Is this Tim?" He said, "yeah!" and she asked if he knew where Katrina was. There was dead silence, and then he hung up.

She called again, and a very agitated and frightened "Tim" was suddenly denying his name and telling us he had no idea who Katrina was - and how did we get his phone number?? I'm analyzing the voice to be sure it's the same lad (I do want to avoid ITPs here for sure!) but he clearly identified with his scammer name and he clearly reacted to MG claiming to be Charlotte, Katrina's friend, asking her whereabouts. Once I have a spot to store it, and when I've confirmed it is indeed our lad, I'll post audio. Much gratitude to MG for her wonderful phone presence as the concerned friend!

If all is confirmed, I'll give him a few days to mull over the idea that he is not out of the woods yet, and the leader of his old buddies from the North has graciously offered to give him a call...
