I set up an account yesterday on FMF and they have yet to approve my picture. Evil or Very Mad

When I signed up last year as Fred, there was no problem and it was instantaneous. Now with female account there is an issue? Has anyone else had a problem with picture approval?

Where else can I sign up (for free)?

I wanted to bait at FMF to get my character all figured out before moving on to other sites. Plus, I my romance baiting skills are a bit rusty. With not having a photo on FMF, they won't allow me to contact anyone and I see quite a few who are obvious lads (and I have seen some that are obviously baiters! Laughing

) and FMF isn't allowing me to play. Crying or Very sad

So, where can I go? I want to give some lads some pain!

Yes, I've got a problem with FMF approving my male character picture, never had a problem with my female character.

This is my first male char, I've had some replies even without a photo but think I'd have more with one and I like to pick and choose who I bait Wink

Something odd does seem to be happening at FMF. Two of my baiting accounts were deleted with no explanation, one had been up for two weeks and one for six months. Another was deleted because the picture was "erotic in nature". Surprisingly enough, Badoo deleted the same picture for the same reason, yet Mingle2 has no problem with it. It's a head shot so I don't know how it could be erotic in nature. Oh well.

There's a good amount of scammers at Mingle2 but also a fair amount of non-scammers so you do have to weed through them.

Without communicating with that profile, I see no reason why it must be a baiter.

I didn't say "must", but a female picture for a male profile is very suspicious IMHO

I would be very surprised if it was anything but a fake profile or a baiter.

I will take the link down if it violate any rules here at Eater.

Yes, Mingle2 takes a while to get used to. Don't worry, the lads are more than bold enough to message you (as well as sending kisses and nudges).

It isn't uncommon for profiles to go active/inactive there several times. I've put mine to inactive when I've got enough lads on the hook and don't want to deal with any more messages, and some of my lads have put their profiles inactive once we moved to email.

Thanks for the tips. I am being very generic in my responses until I know it's a lad. Especially those profiles are near my location. (I don't have my RL location, but it is 20 miles away from it)

Sorry to bring back an older thread, but I just go ta FMF profile, and I like to think that I did pretty well at making it look convincing but not real enough to get real suitors.

Does anyone have any tips for figuring out which profiles might be lads? I'd hate to message someone because they seem a bit off and talk a bit like a lad just to find out that he really is just a really lonely man from New York who doesn't know how to do punctuation.

On FMF I never need to find the lads, they come to me. Just sit back a bit and soon you'll be flooded with messages. They do a lot of scripts, so try and get them off of that and you'll be able to figure out who is a lad and who isn't. don't write anything that they can turn around and use it on a real victim. I stay with one liners until I figure out who is real and who isn't. FMF, I have never met a real person.

Thanks for that tip. I lurked on the chatroom for a sec and immediately found a ladette but I can't contact her because my profile pic isn't up yet, and she might know that I'm a "joker" from the get go if I try to pull her into anything since both of our profiles are straight women looking for men and, unless the ladette is a bit flexible, I just can't see it working out.

I have never had much luck on FMF (although other people seem to do very well snagging lads with it) or Mingle2. Tagged, on the other hand seems to be full of lads including an epic long bait and one of the more savvy scammers I've come across in a very long time. Definitely worth a look in my opinion and very easy to navigate.

We like to keep our profiles off the board so as not to direct lads to them.

Do use a bit of caution, I know of 4 real profiles on FMF that appear as if they are baiters.

Also, I tried going onto that Tagged page and I haven't got any lads yet that I know of, though I've got some legit creepy dudes messaging me. I guess that's what happens when your profile pic is a shot from an LL bean catalog.

^^^Oh, it was you! Yeah, the profile combined with Broken Arrow was brilliant. I was raised in that area, and Broken Arrow is second only to Enid or the sketchier parts of Tulsa for truck drivers who do drugs.

Sorry about that! A lot of my time was spent on another forum where we usually placed a cap on triple-nested quotes, but that double-nested or single-nested was alright. I'll make sure to not do that again.

Can you please clarify for me, does that mean that if I want to post something, say two days later, and nobody has commented in the middle, that I should just edit and carry on one really long post?
