In answer to your other question: No I have not had any contact with the bank. Just as soon as the Invoice has cleared and the money released, then I will be transferring it directly to you. After all I would feel safer sending the $72,000 directly to yourself and then you could deal with the bank direct.

I then receive this letter from the bank. The letter is from a different e-mailing address and a new manager. I now realise that I�m being scammed by new lads who haven�t a clue what has transpired before�

I do not understand the logic of what is happening. First the bank sends me �The Fund Approval� papers and then asks me for $1,450 activation fee.

I then explained to you Jack that in my position, I do not have the necessary funds to send to them. That is when I suggested that perhaps we could borrow the money from the foundations �New Project Fund�.

As you remember, I applied for $72,000 on your behalf in able to assist you and your good family through the hardships, whilst this business is sorted out.

What you�re saying�now that I have the money ready to send to you�is you no longer want it!

I think that is very generous of you brother. Perhaps it would be better if I donated it to a charity on your behalf. I know that the local women�s hospital in my village is in dire need of a new Strapadictomy ward, so I�m sure that they will want to thank you.

Dear Sir.

I am sorry for this sudden intrusion. My name is Robert Ublind, chief accountant for the Worldsister�s Foundation. It has come to my attention as I sort through the affairs of the late Sister Teresia Green. That before her untimely death two weeks ago, that she had left certain business dealings unfinished.

I have managed to open her e-mail and that is where I found your last correspondence. At this conjunction I am a little confused, as she had deleted most of her mail. Unfortunately I have been tasked with picking up the pieces and tying up all the loose ends.

As you are aware Sister Green has been a stalwart for the convent for many years and she will be sadly missed. Her untimely death at the hands of a hit and run driver outside the Western Union office two weeks ago came as a great shock to us all.

Why I am writing is to ask for your assistance. Amongst her possessions, which incidentally the police have only just surrendered back into my custody, was a Western Union receipt for $5,000 made out to a Mr Martin Maxwell. Unfortunately the receipt has been damaged and I cannot make out the address, apart from it is somewhere in Lome.

If you could be so kind as to glance through your files, and see if you can shed any light on the matter I would be most grateful. Your urgency on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
