Hi next victim, I found this site a week ago. Read almost all of the "Letters Archive" and then checked out the forum "Post your work here". My favorites in that area are The Prick of a Lawyer. (forget offhand) I love the senile old man Carl. Then I checked out the "Dating Scams" and love love love your character Orville. I like how you stick to email instead of the chats. It's hard to follow the chats as the format is hard to read.(yeah, I am old and don't do chat) I love the emails you send to your "next victim". How someone can't figure out you don't want to send by WU because they are used by terrorist and illegal immigrants as a reason is beyond me. Or, do they?

Keep up the good work! I read one of yours that is still going on for over a year now! (is it Rhonda? I think it had 8 pages) That is a lot of effort for a scammer to get a couple thousand bucks. Surprised they go along that long. You are brilliant to throw them off script. I really despise the dating scams. It's one thing to cry "I am poor but have family that died that have millions in locked box" type of scam, but the emotional damage arising from the victims of a dating/marriage is a low that just makes me sick. ^^^Welcome to the board. It's always great to see new people coming in whether it is to read or to help.

They know about the terrorist and criminal angle but I guess we are not supposed to think of them in that manner. Surely we could use it just this once because this one isn't like the other criminals that use such services.

I have a hard time with chats myself so I only let Derrick do that. I have had a few with Orville but they are not very often. He is supposed to be a busy man at work so it's a convenient excuse to avoid it.

I have a few that went over a year but you may be speaking of Hana and Jen. I think we are about 8-9 pages in on that one. I have Rosy at about the same number of pages but I don't think I have a year out of him yet.

There are several great baiters in this date baiting area and I commend every single one of them. This is pretty tough to stomach but someone certainly has to do it. I personally think these are the lowest types of scams because of the devastation of the victim.

I hope we'll be seeing your own work around these parts eventually. Bait safe and Have fun!

I don't know if I would be any good at it. lol I enjoy reading the threads here, until I realize that there are real victims out there who are not baiters (see, learning the lingo!) and have not only lost money, but their heart, too. Keep up the good work!

It really isn't all that difficult to waste a Scammer's time. Any correspondence big or small will keep him away from real victims. Plus you can have some of the fun all to yourself!

Read some more around here and sign up for a Mentor as they can be very helpful.

Thanks for the welcome oscarfiles! I am seriously considering it. I have been reading the Joseph vs. Beauty and Beast thread, and it just sickens me. It's been eating at me all day. I am going to read and learn and see if I have what it takes. I am currently disabled, so, I have a lot of time on my hands. Perhaps I might become very wealthy in the near future and see if I can finds someone to spoil with my gobs and gobs of money. Laughing

That is exactly why we do this. These scum take more than just money from their victims. We try and keep them occupied and away from the people who they prey upon. And do a few other things, too.
