All the internet cafes are closed so I have to go TWO WHOLE DAYS without talking to my pets. What do you guys do to pass the time? I am thinking about taking up drinking.

Personally I take up drinking to tolerate my pets. Other days I just do it for fun. I get quite a few that work weekends or at least pretend they do. They are a bit different flavor than what you and your mentor are toying with though.

Maybe some full contact origami, sleeping in trees, talking to your other personalities might occupy the time. If nothing else the stereo is a great distraction!

Actually, the Darlings are getting pretty boring so I'm no longer baiting on weekends for the most part. I wanted to make my two recent attampts at safariing Andre on a saturday so I could give it my full attention. I go and do whatever RL things I want to do.

I have 10 Darling E-mails sent yesterday and they can wait until tomorrow for me to reply. I did send Piggy #173 off to market on Friday after getting it back after I made my one per day responses.

So my weekend has been cooking, cleaning, laundry, & shopping. Watching the NASCAR races and the Tigers play. Nothing but Glamour for this Baiter. LOL.

I never have this problem. I kill sites on the weekends, those don't require me to be on the lads' schedule.

This got me thinking what exactly do I do when not playing around on the Internet? Contrary to popular belief, I do have a life outside of this Hobby although I do try to Bait whenever I can (or feel like it).

So this three day weekend began with The Missus commenting on how our lawn was self-seeding itself leading me to believe that she was really saying " Cut the Damn Lawn Stoopid!" So I tuned up the Tractor and cut the lawn. Then I changed out a couple switches in the house, put up a towel rack, painted some stuff then went around the corner to Drink some Beers. My neighbour gave me some Horseradish so I planted that when I got home and then Drank myself into a Stupor.

On Saturday Morning I Canned some Leeks that I had harvested a bit back and started up a batch of Lye. Late morning brought a Neighbour in need of my assistance which kinda screwed up my day but there were Beers involved so it wasn't a total waste of time. Afterwards I cut some brush along the Driveway but got too warm so settled into a Vodka and Lemonade themed evening.

Sunday had me cleaning out the eaves troughs, splitting firewood, burning Garbage, shovelling gravel, cleaning ashes out of the wood stoves etc. I also tuned up the Generator as this is the time of year we usually have power outages. From the way the wind is blowing today it could cut out at any moment.

Now I'm sitting back with a Beer on the Deck organizing my Fishing equipment for next weekend. Instead of fishing here, I think I'll head to the Cottage as it gets me completely out of this Hobby since there isn't even cell service there.

So there you have it! The lawn looks worse than it did on Friday though....

bored ? never, my dog gets more attention than my lads, but to make sure they stay awake I always pay WU on my Friday evenings and promise to call them right away which I up till now always manage to forget Evil or Very Mad

If they work the weekends, I don't Wink

They're more a nuisance than fun for me, I never answer the same day unless we're playing catch me then in a foreign country that takes up some personal time or I get kidnapped again Wink

I'm always very angry when I find out that they don't speak English there where I am so I have to trust this local guy just to keep the lad on his toes and looking for Loki Beure or John Doe, but there's more than lads in my world.

OP I used to feel the same way until I read some where that life is not always about baiting. Well actually i wrote it and then I read it but it does apply here. Just ask my wife. Laughing

Bored? Never. If a friend has a couch, my dog and I are on it. Last night's drumming circle was superb. It stormed lots, but we were safe. Came home this morning to find a toad in the bathtub. LOL!

Lads? No. Sites? Yes, but not when I'm having fun. I agree with Big X, killing sites is not on a lad's schedule, and is best savored when they don't see me coming. :chomp:
